      Took items to this consignment store, could not get an accounting of what the owner kept for sale. She supposedly threw away or donated more than half of the items. She said that disposed of items were "broken" (had been carefully packaged) or worthless. I contacted both of the businesses she stated she'd donated to. Both denied receiving those items. I have photos of all items brought in Subsequently received checks for 3 sold items. Had no idea which items they were. Informed owner i was coming in to retrieve the unsold items at the end of the consignment period. With the "list" in hand I searched for >2 hours and neither I nor the helpful employee could find any of my items that she took and supposedly not did sell. Including items with photos I'd taken off these items... IN HER STORE.Requests for return of items were ignored. The file size of the document created with images of items and "contract" is too large.

      This email is in response to a complaint involving Ms **** ********. I am the owner of Ivanas Trunk, W63N127 *************************,*** 

      This issue revolves around our stores policies and contract. We provide each consignor with an inventory/consignment agreement which lists the items they are consigning, prices of those items and 5he date of consignment. It also serves as a contract that states the terms & limitations of consignment. 

      Ms ******* signed the contract on March 26, 2025 where we also verbally informed her of said terms and conditions. I followed up with a phone call on April 11, 2025 to inform her of the items we were not consigning due to damage. In the voicemail I left for her i informed her of the half dozen or so items we were not consigning. I told her she had five days to pick them up & after that they would be donated to a local charity.  After the fifth day said items were in fact donated. She came in 10 days later & asked about her items  We told her we donated them due to their broken condition. 

      We have fulfilled our obligation to Ms ******** as per the contract. She was paid for the items we sold & she came in to retrieve the rest.  ************* had read her contract she would have realized that we are not obligated to pay her for the donated items nor the items not found in the store. Ivanas Trunk reserves the right to dispose of all articles unsold or unclaimed following the above date (3-26-25) without notice or payment to the consignor and without liability on the part of Ivanas Trunk to the consignor. All reasonable care will be taken of articles to Ivanas Trunk, but they are left at consignors risk. Items not accepted will be disposed of if not reclaimed in five days. 

      That being stated it is our contention that Ms ******* has no claim for reimbursement or payment for the donated items or the items not found in the store. 

      Ms ******* refused to give us her new address to forward her commission checks. Assuming there was some ill intent on our part towards her. She also came into our store quite irritated and made a scene in front of customers claiming we had stolen her items. It was quite embarrassing. All of this could have been avoided if she had reclaimed the broken items in a timely matter.

      On 12/16/25 I consigned several items with Ivana's Trunk. The consignment agreement offers a 50/50 split of sales proceeds for the first month, reduced by 15% every 30 days. The item addressed here is complete set of Wedgewood Royal ****** Country Rose china priced at $350. I visited the shop monthly to see what items of mine had sold. The china set had sold in the first month. I should have received a check in February. I went to the store and spoke personally with the owner, *****. She said the check would be mailed out "soon". It was not. I visited the store again in March and noted that more of my items had sold, and enquired about payment. On April 23, I received a payment for items sold in March , but not for the china set sold in January. I called ***** on 5/3/25 and she said she would mail the check "tomorrow". As of today (5/27/25), I have not been paid, Unfortunately, I have been hearing that my situation is far from unusual.
