Important information

  • Additional Info:
Best Version Media (BVM) is headquartered in Brookfield, Wisconsin and was established in 2007. Best Version Media and its sister company, Best Version Media Canada Inc. publishes direct-mailed monthly magazines to specific neighborhoods throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Best Version Media advertising is sold to businesses and offers a 12, 24 or 36 month contract. BVM has a "No cancellation" policy and contracts are sold and signed in person or electronically, with the client (business) always receiving a copy. (Please note that, per BVM, if a business goes out of business, a contract may be canceled after required proof is provided.)

The Better Business Bureau strongly urges people to read and understand all aspects of any contract. Once signed, a contract becomes a legally binding document and cannot be canceled.

Contracts by BVM contain an auto-renewal provision, which means the contract automatically renews itself at the end of the contract term. According to BVM, per its contract, the business client may elect to opt out of the auto-renewal at any time prior to less than 30 days before the renewal date. BVM tells BBB Serving Wisconsin that the auto-renewal opt out date and how to opt-out is provided to the client in its welcome letter/email that the client receives the day they sign their contract. (since this is an issue per complainants, this sentence is meant to hold the sales rep/company accountable)

Please note that, per BVM, statistics including the approximate home count (magazine reach), neighborhood geography in its distribution area are always provided by its representatives during the sales process. BVM has also noted that their advertising is extremely effective when compared to other types of advertising, and is based on a branding strategy that requires repetition and frequency.
