The bill process has become ridiculous. Northwest Communications autopay keeps failing to actually autopay on time. This time it decided to take Aprils payment out automatically and then skip taking out ****. Now it decided to take both May and June out on the first for double the amount. I have this set to autopay so I dont have to worry about making sure its paid. Now I have to worry about whether a communications companies actual website works properly Id like the payment Northwest failed to auto collect returned due to the hassle.

We will not return the double payment as May was not paid so both payments were taken out in June. There are no late fees and we did have an issue with our autopay but that has been fixed.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

This is not the first time this has happened. Do we need to monitor your system to ensure it is working properly or can we rely on it to actually work? If there is an issue with your system can you kindly implement some type of program to actually alert your customers who depend on your system to work that it did not, vs surprise our system broke and give us your money now. Could you send out emails to your customers? At no time was I informed that the payment wasnt paid. Obviously Im trying to pay my bill on time and the inconvenience you created you care very little about, oh and thank you for not imposing a late fee because your company failed to manage its own system properly.

      Regards,

Northwest Communications came to my house saying that they could install the proper equipment but when they came to install they weren't able to do it without causing damage to my home. My sales person told me that I would not be charged anything until it was installed and I was sent to collections. They have promised service in ********** and basically ghosted many of us.

Fiber was plowed to the home in 2023.  The agreed price for this is $300.  Multiple attempts were made to finalize the install.  The customer stated that they need to make changes in the home before it could be completed (move a speaker?).  We would gladly finish this when the customer lets us know that it can be completed.

After months of disturbingly inconsistent scheduling, Northwest Comm dug in my cable, despite telling me the day before they wouldn't be out that week. It is a new construction. Twice they'd marked the path for the cable. All they did was go off a utility aerial photo provided by the utility companies and never did a physical "scan" of the site. Consequently they cut through the power to my septic system. They charged me $300 in order to cut a power line that I now have to pay $1200 to repair. I know of others with similar complaints against Northwest. Their communications, scheduling and customer service is nonexistent.
