Spoke with John the owner on head gaskets on 2010 outback on 2/11 ,he said it be about ******* Like ******* cash deposit so I gave it and left car still requesting a written estimate before he did anything because he said he gota call and get price on parts first,.he said be on it the next week,by 2nd week of it being there I stopped in after no return calls and he said he got a ***** at ****** pro *** with a low mile engine that be cheaper to do then do the heads on mine,I said I need a written estimate before I agree and documented mileage.week 3 still no estimate and at that point I went to get my car and money back,I got the car but he will not return my deposit.claims my money tied up in ordering an engine yet he had no invoice and was told by me that I need written estimate and mileage before I agree to new engine and the day I picked the car up he hadnt had any parts or engine on site he just said he gota call and tell his ***** at pro*** that he didnt need the engine now.been to his shop 3 times and he keeps saying stop back the next day.very frustrated how he lies and does business.i have documented notes on all our interactions and do have a hand written receipt for my ******* cash deposit.what can I do at this point?
