Breach of Privacy / ***************************************** has recently discovered a serious and alarming issue with ZoomInfos platform. Specifically, when users connect their corporate email accounts to **********************, the company gains permission to scan through those emails. What is even more concerning is that this access appears to extend beyond the individual user, allowing other employees within the same organization to view information from that inbox. This practice creates a total breach of privacy. At no point were we made adequately aware that connecting our emails would permit ZoomInfo to access, scan, and share inbox data internally. Once we became aware, we immediately disconnected all employees emails from their platform to protect our companys ***************** is our belief that ZoomInfos *********** product, which claims to identify company-level behaviors and buying signals, is directly fueled by this invasive practice. We consider this to be misrepresentation and unethical data collection. We respectfully request that the BBB investigate ZoomInfos practices regarding:The nature and extent of access granted when users connect emails.Whether customers are fully informed that their inbox data may be accessed and shared.Whether this constitutes deceptive or unfair business practices. We also request that ZoomInfo be required to clarify and disclose these practices openly to all customers before encouraging email connections. We would like the desired outcome:Assurance that our companys data has been permanently deleted.Transparency from ZoomInfo about how email data is used, stored, and shared.Preventive measures so other businesses are not misled into unknowingly compromising their private communications.

Disappointed and Misled Proceed with Caution Our experience with ZoomInfo has been deeply disappointing. From the outset, the sales process felt overly aggressive and high-pressure. We were contacted persistently to secure payment, and during these calls, the features and results were overstated. Unfortunately, after signing up, it quickly became clear that the platform did not deliver what was promised.Particularly concerning was our interaction with *** *******. The sales approach was pushy, and when we raised concerns about the discrepancies between what was sold and what was delivered, communication from ZoomInfo stopped abruptly. We felt misled and ignored as soon as we expressed dissatisfaction.Businesses deserve transparency, accountability, and responsive supportnone of which we experienced here. Based on our interactions, I would strongly recommend considering alternative providers that value honesty and long-term client relationships.Scam artists and liars!!!

VERY disappointed in the quality of ZoomInfo's data. We sent a cancellation email to ZoomInfo in July of 2024, which was confirmed by them, after trying ZoomInfo's service during the first ***** days. Instead of posting a negative review on line, we elected to just notify them via email of our dissatisfaction. We did not request a refund of what we had spent thus far, though we should have. The data is not close to being accurate, in our experience, with most of the information being outdated because company executives were not there any longer, or their cell phones were no longer in service, etc. Cell phone data of company executives was ZoomInfo's selling point used to differentiate themselves from their competitors and why they charged a premium for that info. They boast on line "The ************************* but that is not what we experienced. We discovered the lack of quality immediately, but we charged on thinking that it may get better. We finally came to the conclusion that the data was not worth what they were charging, was a total waste of time, submitted the cancellation notice, and are refusing to pay further because of the poor quality of the product. They have now sent this matter to a collection agency.

Stay away...over-promised, under-delivered, unactionable business contacts and intelligence. So I tried it a couple months, looking for "Insights" or "intent" of businesses looking for my services near me. I got a hit (meaning their IP address showed history searching for my services, supposedly) with a local company. We called asked to speak to their ***resentative, set up a visit, went for the visit and the *** said no-one has looked for your services here and we are currently in a long-term contract with another vendor. Waste of time. We kept trying - in one month, there were only 10 companies that searched for my services in my region. Out of those 10, only 2 were legit. $875/month for two potential contacts. 8 of the illegitimate contacts were assigned to my region because they had an office in the area...none of the contacts were actually in my region. Completely false and misleading B2B search data.I sent a termination notice and breach notice. They had 21 days to respond, they failed to respond or cure, I am relieved of my obligations at this point due to their failure. They are still fighting and threatening collections, even after I followed their contract to a T for a valid termination. They do not honor their contract, even with valid termination clauses. The contracts they put out are difficult to get around, usually 12 month terms, they've written it so it's difficult to cancel and you'll still be liable for the full term. They also slip in an auto-renew clause at 60 days prior to contract expiration. Everything about these guys are shady. Do not sign up, you'd be better off looking in the yellow pages for information on companies.I'd give them 0 Stars if I could.

My business is down, so I cancelled my subscription renewal. They keep on emailing and leaving voicemails harassing me for money on the cancelled subscription that I cannot afford.

This incompetent band of data thieves has listed erroneous and/or dated information about my business and their activities have probably left me open to fraud attacks. I can't correct or delete anything from their site without subscribing to it.

LEAVE ME ALONE! I don't know how ZoomInfo obtained my information, but they had my wrong job title...so I landed on sales/marketing lists that weren't relevant to their products...and it gleaned my PERSONAL phone number, so I was not only being mistakenly contacted outside my job role, but they were doing it to my cell phone. ZoomInfo should be more responsible about their practices for data capture because at the end of their system are real people who have better things to do than answer dozens of inappropriate sales calls.

Mistakenly signed up for a year and then found out I wasn't actually able to utilize the service, repeated attempts to contact them to work out any sort of a cancellation were of no avail, no live person talked to me about it, no offer to help. Just repeated threats to send me to cancellations and collections. Small one man business that made a mistake getting into the contract which they now won't talk to me about at all.

Software repeatedly crashed my MacBook Pro with 32GB of memory for days. It was a business quarter before we were able to use ZoomInfo. On using ZoomInfo a majority of contacts went to the reception. They claim they have sophisticated software to detect company detail accuracy but even for my own business the details were over 8 years outdated. They claim a 99% uptime clause but this isnt honoured which will result in you dragging through legal channels. Couldnt recommend anyone use them for anything. May sue for damages.
