    So our furnace went out the day after mothers day called Apex and had them come out and look at it as we've only been in our house less than 2 years on a new build. They came out on the 23rd. The Tech looked at it and said it was the motherboard needed to be replaced. He noticed there was water Residue coming from the top of the furnace and you can see Where it was coming down. He told me that it may be a **** homes problem. There might be something leaking up top. I had **** homes Come out and look at it and they told me there was nothing wrong with up in the attic above it. They told me it was a Apex problem and that it was building up condensation. And leaking down into the electrical I reached out to Apex once again and told them What was going on and that we feel like We Should not have to pay for the part which was $494 That had a parts warranty on it that they collected on and we had to pay for! Told Apex what **** Homes told ** and that It needed To be insulated due to condensation build-up. I told apex What are we supposed to do if this happens again. they're only answer Was this was not within the one year warranty time frame! This company when they install the furnaces knows that this is happening and they're not willing to fix it unless it's in the one year warranty. But This is not happening until after the one year warranty is already up. They know this And this is how they're scamming people to get business knowing that this is going to happen. Our house is not even two years old this should not even be happening! If the company wants to make this right They will refund our $494 and I'll take care of the issue myself!

    Company was asked to come out to service our furnace, company disclosed a $300 trip charge but failed to disclose a min hourly rate in addition to the $300 charge of $460. Service tech admitted he should have disclosed that but forgot, spoke to the main office manager who said its not their policy to disclose their rates up front but when I pointed out that thats extremely shady business practices, he insisted its not. The manager said he also spoke to the owner of the company who also said he didnt care if the tech told me up front or not, they did a service, they can charge whatever they want regardless of if they disclosed it to me or not. Extremely unethical business practices taking advantage of a 75 year old pensioner. Be aware, they will tell you their $300 trip feel but fail to mention they will actually charge you a min of $860 for going out even if it only took 30mins and no parts to fix.
