The newest guy, ****** took an online ** course, which is worthless since he had zero hands on experience. He literally nearly burned up 2 different **s within a month, did not check his work after he did any work on his own. He did shoddy work and then hoped that no one would notice. He "looked" fast because he cut corners. What the ** course "is" good for is that it comes with a certificate which will hang in the main office...AND the owner will now CHARGE customers HIGHER RATES because of that "certificate". **** will look you in the eye while knowing he's CHARGING HIGHER RATES because of a piece of paper on the wall from an inexperienced employee. ***BEWARE***BEWARE***BEWARE***BEWARE***BEWARE***BEWARE***Another employee, ****, who eventually quit on his own volition, is a current parolee and former gang banger with mental issues, which everyone in the shop new about. He was always flipping out about something. Everyone walked on eggshells with him there. It was a breath of fresh air after he quit, and everyone in the shop felt the difference. He also used to work at the ********** Canopy Country, and I found out that they didn't like working with him either. He quit there too. But the owner, ********************* couldn't see the problems that he had, and hired him for the Yakima Canopy Country. For whatever reason, the owner and office personnel chose to believe whatever he would tell them without question, which I believe is another reason why I was laid off. ***BEWARE***BEWARE***BEWARE***BEWARE***BEWARE***BEWARE***I was laid off in November of 2019. I "had" been in the ** business nearly non-stop since ****. I was 62 years old but still with my wits, and I dotted my 'i's and crossed my 't's when I did the job. I didn't cut corners. And I did a good job. The new guy, ****** was 25 or so, with NO previous ** experience. I believe that age is another reason why I was laid off.
