Multiple broken items. Chest door broke off. Glass lamp shade. ***** pushed out of my Grandfather clock broken Christmas bowl. They refused to give me a receipt or their state #. They have not not provided insurance information. I have not finished unpacking everything. I am a disabled Senior citizen. ALSO KNOCKED OUT THE SCREWS ON MY CARD TABLE. I hired this business to conduct a move for a studio apartment into a new home. During this transaction the company showed up late then provided me with a waiver releasing themselves of any liability. Afterwords they proceeded to trash my belongings completely unprepared and untrained to even disassemble a bed. They drug my belongings on every ground surface unprotected including in their own truck. In addition, the movers took multiple long breaks but still charged me for that time. I spoke to the representative in hopes to take care of the damages and all they were willing to do was deduct 30 minutes of the entire rate. Ive calculated at least a $1000 in damages including property and still had to pay the company.Initial Complaint

Having acquired a quote and made a deposit for a move with this company on Thursday 02/09, I confirmed that my move would happen today Feb 11, between ****p PT. During the confirmation call, I was told that if for some reason I could not be moved on Saturday, I would 100% be moved on the following morning, Sunday Feb 12. I received a call at 2:30p PT today that I could not be moved--and despite earlier guarantees I would have to wait until Wednesday the 15th. After speaking with the operating manager that this was unacceptable and that I had been told otherwise, I was given the option to move to Wednesday or cancel. Since other companies are booked out weeks in advance, I have had NO choice but to stick with this one and hope I don't get rescheduled again on Wednesday. I told the operating manager that at the very least I should have a portion of my money deducted from the original price, as this was FOUR days removed from my original date. He refused. So I am escalating my concerns and this report with the BBB in hopes of some restitution. It should also be noted that this company has the BBB logo on their site even though they are NOT BBB accredited. That seems dishonest at the very least, and a scam at worst, and they should be pursued legally by the BBB if appropriate.Initial Complaint

In Nevember I contacted ****** from Established Movers about a move on 12/1/22. I was initially given great customer service,was given lots of information the do's and don't ofvthe move and the price was very fair. He contacted me by email and phone to make sure everything was set and tge move was a go. On 12/1 the movers arrived on time,did a great job on thecservice,worked fast and as I was assured,they put all items where I asked them to,I'm very appreciative for that. After the movers left ,I plugged in my ** to have some background noisexandvto steam some music through it. As it turned on,the top left hand corner of the ** was punched in and the screen was scattered. I immediately called ****** and he gave me his email address,and told to send pictures and he'd jump right on it. I followed his directions, I sent the email,and I followed up the next day to make sure he received them. Unfortunately ****** wasn't available to take my call and another employee was able to. I asked him what was ******* decision and long would it take to replace,repair,or give me a settlement to be done with the issue so we could all move on. Hiscreply to me was he'd seen the pictures,he apologized for the damage, but said he doesn't get mixed up or make any statements where damage has happened and ****** is concerned. I've called multiple times,I've sent multiple emails over the last month, every time I call I am instantly sent to voice-mail,and none of my emails have been answered. The only thing I want is a payment for my ** and this company will never hear from me again. The going rate for a higher end ** is around ******. That's all I want is to be compensated for that and I will never contact this company again. It's been over a month and I've lost all faith in this company that will settle this and have it taken care of. Please contact me with a payment so this can be taken care of. I still have the emails, and call logs for proof backing up what I've said if needed.Initial Complaint

so on 11/28 I called them looking to see if they could help with a move that week. The lady said yes they could, she Gave me a quote over the phone, said they didnt charge for drive time, only going from home to home. and said I needed to pay a 100 deposit to hold the time for the morning of 11/29. I said ok paid it . Shortly after I was called by someone with the company confirming my move. He assured me to that someone would be there At 8 oclock . Next morning , nothing until I get a call around 11 from the guy from the day before giving me excuses for why they never showed up and saying they were going to working with me on the price because of the inconvenience .he said that theres a team close by finishing up a job and they were close And they would not charge for travel time since they were already in the area. I said ok. They arrive around noon. Two people. the move goes pretty smoothly getting things out. took around 90 minutes to two hours getting things out of the old place. So we confirm where we were going, the driver kind of spoke broken English so some things were harder to explain but I showed him where to go. The driver gets there and take around 30 minutes to an hour parking and repairing and maneuvering.. so they finish moving things in and He calls someone on the phone who is saying its ****. I asked for an itemized bill and the reason for the difference . He says all he can do is tell me over the phone. Says they charged me for travel time. Says ***** of it was travel time . Said it was Washington regulations to charge that on moves. They only drove around ten minutes. I questioned that and told him the sales person told me there was no travel time outside of home to home. Plus the discount should change the price. He says he has no knowledge of that. I begrudgingly paid and called the numbers I called before. Was given the run around or told they didnt know who told me that or who sent my estimate . On May 26, 2022 Established Moving was hired to pack up household goods into boxes from ********************************************* and ship them to ******** via **** Poorly packed boxes resulted in substantial damage and company agreed to pay $1660 after a release was signed. The release was signed Aug 4, 2022 which promised payment in full within 10 days. Over a month later, no payment has been received. Numerous emails, texts, and phone calls are not answered.Business response

I hired this company to ********** Saturday August 20th. 1. They overcharged me and at the end requested $200 for surcharge of which I was never spoken to about despite being very specific and asking if any hidden price I need to know about. They said no, the charge is $129 per hour 2. They chipped a glass mirrored chest. I showed it to the mover prior to his packing it, and I said "see I have no chips no cracks, please pack it carefully." It is now chipped.3. I have a chandelier floor lamp. It is missing all the chandeliers to it. Specifically 5 spheres of chandelier that were attached to the lamp. Without it, the lamp is useless, simply rods.I have tried in good faith to clear this up and have not received a return call (called twice) and have not received a response to my email wherein I specifically state the issue.Business response

I used Established Moving and Storage for my move on 7/24/2022. They sent an email saying they would arrive between 8am and 9am. They did not answer the phone nor did they provide a reason why their team did not show up until almost 11am. In their paperwork, they said my stuff would be insured for a certain amount, and I would expect that they would help compensate or fix damages in my home due to their movers taking a chunk out of my wall (new home) and damaging my bed (that cannot be fixed in current state). I have taken pictures and sent them to the owner with no response for almost 2 weeks. They charged me almost $2,000 for a move that they showed up late to and damaged my home and property.Business response

I was quoting for 3men and truck at 228$ per hour + 1 hours (228$) of travel fee. I call them three times prior to make sure there is no other fee that will surprise me at the end. I spoke to ***** and ***** who is the owner of the company. They ensure me that the quote is accurate and no other tax or fee will be added. They told me not to worry and everything will be straight forward and smooth transaction. Obviously not happening after the crew finish the work. The crew start working at 9am and finish at 12:10am and then call the office for the final charge. The move is from Storage to unload at residential home. I thought it would be easy and smooth transaction. Just labors and truck. Nothing complicate. The branch manager call for the total of 1235$ which combine all fee that is not even in the quote. I believe this is a Shady and scandalous way of doing business. I should believed some other bad review on yelps and ******* At the end they lower the price to 1081$. The calculation that I got from my calculation is 3hours and 10 Mins + 1 hour of travel fee = $950. I didn't use any of packing material. I only use the labors+truck. This actuall ****** me off. I just paid them 1081$ just to get it over with. The only good thing about this transaction is ***** and his crews are very curtious and polite. They work fast. I have another loading coming in from out of state. I think I better use any other company. They promised me of 10% discount. You have to be crazy to use them again. This service and totally experienced is not worth 1081$Business response
