In jan 2023 I purchased a vehicle from Jr's **** sales/ NW AutoPros Unfortunately two weeks after having the vehicle it was totaled out by a man and the vehicle/ loan was paid in full by the driver at faults insurance company. Since I had just purchased the vehicle, the gap.insuramce policy i had purchased I was able.to cash out and able to receive all of the money back from it. Totalling about $1000. The company who disperses the funds was partners alliance. Apparently the way one gets there money back is a very strategic way and order it is supposed to go. This told to me by the dealership SEVERAL TIMES. But unfortunately they decided to break the rules. Partners alliance cut the check which was check number #***** for the amount of $895.00 but was apparently cashed not by me on March 16, 2023. So Jr's ****.sales NW AutoPros decided to on their own behalf break the rules and Instead of dispersing the funds according they decided amongst themselves to keep the money because according to them i.owed them a down payment still. Well that's odd, because according to my paperwork and also my finance company, which required.a down payment of ******* says it was and is paid. Either way if I owe or don't owe is it ethical, right or even legal for this delearahip to decide what I do with my money from MY Insurance policy. DO THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO TAKE MY MONEY FROM ME LIKE THAT? They themselves told me it has to run thru this process. And they didn't even follow thru in their own rules.. but I just don't think it's okay they DECIDED FOR THEMSELVES WHAT TO DO WITH MY INSURANCE *****. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO ME THEN LET ME PAY THEM. WHAT THEY DID AND HOW THEY LIED TO ME AND SNUCK IT ALL AROUND IS SO WRONG. I WAS IN COMMUNICATION WITH P.A. SEVERAL TIMES AS I WAS WAITING FOR THE ***** TO.ARRIVE. and then got told oh well pretty much .nope not okay with that.. Only because I don't want to loose all this documentation/complaint. Jr's ****sales and nw **** pros are the same company, well.same owners rather. We are in receipt of your letter dated from 5/28/2023, along with the complaint ************************* filed with your office.
JRS Auto Sales and NW Auto Pros takes its obligation as a Washington automobile dealer very seriously, Unfortunately, ******************** complaint contains some inaccurate information concerning teh sale of the vehicle and our efforts to satisfy teh customer.
**************** still had money owing to the dealership. She even stated in her complaint "IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO ME AND THEN LET ME PAY THEM". We simply applied the funds to money she was still owing the dealership. And furthermore she got paid more then what she owed on the car. Which she also stated. She could have paid us then but, chose not too. I hope this clears up any issues.

I am rejecting this response because:The way he decided to keep my insurance money was illegal and against their own policy. Where does ot say I didn't pay them? The paperwork speaks for itself not to mention that check from the gap company was made out to me, how can they cash a check in my name? And it is clearly none of their business how much I got paid for the loan, it was my car. Frankly it was way overpriced in the first place. Not to mention the finance company would even vouch that I made my down payment. It was required. None the less my point is how can they go against their own policy? Also the car paperwork says Its paid. Its in black and white. U can't just cash someone else's check or sign it over, especially that amount. Ethically it's wrong and legally too. But that's how this company treats their customers apparently. Ethics and morals go out the window...its all about the dollar to them.

We have received an reviewed Ms ******* complaint, and response to our response. There are some inaccuracies in her complaint, and her response. **************** still has a balance owing at JRS Auto Sales/ NW Auto Pros. The check that we received from the *********** was made out to our dealership, we did not cash a check made out to *************************. Company policies were followed.
To resolve this matter, we are writing off the balance owed by *************** as a loss. We will return the amount *************** paid for the Gap via check by mail. Please provide a current address where *************** would like the check mailed to.

Re case number ********. I was wondering what the time line for said company to send the check to me? It's been 10 days and i have not received anything. We live in the same town. Shouldn't take 10 plus days to send a check from ******** to ******** I wouldn't think? Thank youBusiness response

To start this off i was 19 at the time i decided to finance this car from these people. I was a first time car buyer and really needed a car. These people sold me a car they had just gotten on the lot the day i arrived to finance. They claim they ran all safety test. I am starting to think this was a big lie. This car is a 2018 ***** *************** Ive had this vehicle for almost a year in April 7 2023. This car has nonstop given me problems. It is a true lemon, when initially bought this vehicle i was told any problems that came up they would take care of it. So i reached out every single time and they never wanted to help. It took my mom threatening to get an attorney for them to finally help. In total the vehicle has broke down twice both while i was on the freeway. These people are doing some seriously wrong things. I want justice they took advantage of me being so young and not really knowing anything about cars. Im not sure what steps i could take but i guess this is a start. My car is currently sitting in my driveway not working but i am being forced to pay for a vehicle i cannot even drive. This dealership is saying they can not do anything to help and are complete ignoring me.Business response

My ************************* spoke with ******************** when her car originally broke down. We explained that she had a extended service contract and for her to take it to a mechanic. We also provided her with a loaner car while it was being fixed. I have been trying to go above and beyond in helping ******************** with her car. Even after her mother called one of my salesman at 3 in the morning and yelled at him and swore at him. We also paid for some of the service on the vehicle. Even though we were not obligated to and even though it was seven months after the purchase.
I now just spoke with ******************** personally and told her I would pay for the tow to a local mechanic shop too have it inspected and see what is wrong so the warranty company can fix. I believe we have been acting above and beyond in helping out ********************. And we will continue to help as best as we can.

I would like to reopen my case for my email was having some issues receiving mail nothing I said was false they did give me a loaner that broke down about a month after I was driving it they provided me with an additional loaner that was great I appreciate them making it right but lets me truthful your were not going to help me it wasnt until my mom got ***** and said she would get a lawyer which we could have. The fact you didnt reach out until after you received this complaint proves what you say about wants to help in your best way possible is Bull. You sold me this car knowing it was going to have problems hint why ****** told me if anything goes wrong bring it back and we will fix it but that was not done was it he turned me away and told me to take it to a shop and the the inspection was about 250. Honestly will get you a lot further than lies. And on top of that when you sold the car it had just gotten in the lot ****** lied about how long I had been working at my job. You want to make it right then do the right thing. I will be filing an additional complaint against red line ***** for only making the situation worse. Fair warning if ***** did nothing to me car and it was in fact ****** garage that did something to frame it on red line that will be exposed. For I took pictures of my complete engine before it was sent over to Emilys ********* know you went this all to be over just as much as me I dont want to deal with this anymore, I did nothing wrong I deserve to feel safe in the vehicle I am driving which I am still forced to pay the monthly payments on a dead bear vehicle. I recently just got my hours cut and its been really hard keeping up and now ***** claims I have an over ***** dollar bill for this car I just dont want to deal with it Im exhausted. Im exhausted mentally physically and emotionally I did nothing to deserve all of this. It **** that my mom had to calm you at 3am thats the time the loaner had broken down on my way home from work in the freeway. I was terrified and could have been injured have some compassion for my situation. Saying you care for my situation but showing no action that you do are two different things. This is complaint is completely false. We sold her this car in April on the 5th of 2022. She then had it into a shop of her choosing in Nov of 2021, seven months after the purchase. She also purchased a warranty. We put her in a vehicle to drive while her car was being repaired. Something that we don't have too do. We then paid 819 to the mechanic she chose to fix her car. So that way she wouldn't have to use her warranty. It apparently broke down again after the repairs were done by her mechanic. We then paid to have it towed to our mechanice. Unfortunately, the previous mechanic, ( her mechanic) did something wrong to the car. Nothing we can do about that. We have been more the helpful with her. Even after her mother called our salesman at 3 am to yell at him. While he has 4 children sleeping. Again we have been more then fair with everything and wish her the best for the future.

I bought a car at jps dealership 4 months ago.they told me they had the car checked out and fixed. Well i had to take my car to the dealership to have the battery light issue that was on when i bought the car. Since its been at **** both sway bars were bad wiring harness bad power sterring pump and rear differential is bad and needs to be rebuilt.if the car was imspected they wpuld of lnown of these problems.im making a car payment plus now its another **** to ha e it fixed and already spent over **** on parts My thing is if the car was inspected they would of known these problems.im to place either try to fix it and have it repoed or make the payments and cant get the car fixed.simce ive had the car ive driven maybe 10 times due to the issues.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: for one when asked of the buisnes if there was a extended warranty with this vehicle i was told no there wasnt.then all of a sudden a warranty was produced and dated for the time of the sale but no signatures of any kind. So the warranty was just all of a sudden given to me to resolve this.then i was called numerouse times saying please we will do what ever if u revoke ur bbb complaint and also ur review on us. I think its funny how all of a sudden after i file a complaint with u and give a bad review on ****** i all of a sudden have a extended warranty and all. Us i was in the dealership 2 days before i wrote to u and did my review Nd spoke to the salesman that helped me and gave him copies of all wrong with the car and he said after making copies let me talk to the owners and ill get bCk to u tommorrow after he told me there was no extended warranty.so the dealership is trying to all of a sudden trying to make them look like they have never done nothing wrong by selling me a car that should of never been sold in the first placeNot only that i have been in direct contact with **** who has my car and they tell me the extended warranty company will not get back to them on the ok to fix the rear end Nd atuff they cover. I have had this car 5 months and its been in the shop for 3 months of that time and deiven maybe 10 to 15 times. Then the dealership tryed telling me to take it out of ****s hands and take the car to there nechanics and i said no.i rrust **** not ur mechanics because look howbur mechanics alreafy i spected rhe car and fixed it ao i left it at **** my pick of mechanics.so them trying to pressure me to drop bbb and there review i wrote plus to pull my car from a **** dealership what does that tell u. That they know they screeed up and want me to trust them at there personal mechanic which couldnt fix the problem in the first place with the electrical problem. So they can stop lying and trying to bully me its not going to happen.

On May 5, 2022 they sold me a 2016 **** Esape. On May 8 2022, I was driving while it died on me on the road, luckily I managed to safely pull over to complete stop. Tried to start the car and it would not start. I had no choice but to reach out to ************** for ******************* With the service requested, it started so I thought the battery was bad so I had went and got battery replaced. Now this new battery worked fine until the next day May 9, 2022 and the same thing happened. It was getting late and so I had to tow it back to the dealership because I wasn't very satisfied. The sales rep guaranteed to fix it at no costs to me. I asked about loaner and they could not assist. With all that going on, transportation to take me from home to work has been issue and has jeopardize my performance. Currently on suspension and still i havent heard from the dealersip. At least replace the vehicle or provide something to use just to keep the job.Business response
