I made an appointment for the otter encounter for me, my daughter and grand son for April 19, 2025. Booking # *********. $300.00. As soon as they took us in to the otter cage we sat down, were very still and did as we were told to just let the otters come up to us. The otters immediately bit my grandson ( 10 yrs old) 3 times and my daughter (40 yrs old) once. (She will have a scar from from this). Right away the lady doing the otter experience took us out of the cage in to a room where she put medication on the bite marks and filled out a form. We asked for a refund and she spoke with the owner (*******). He said he would refund $250. After not hearing anything from them I left numerous phone messages and emailed them through their website asking about when I would receive the refund. Finally on May 15 I received a text from the owner that said to remind him of our situation so he can refund me. I sent the text back to him on the same day explaining the situation. On May 18 I hadn't heard from him so I texted asking when I could expect the refund. He said it should have been processed and he wasn't sure how long the banks would take and He would send another email stating it was refunded( didn't receive the 1st email) I did receive the 2nd email but it just said it was refunded. I messaged him that it wasn't pending on my bank account. May 28 I texted again that I hadn't received the refund could he check on it. On june 6 I emailed no refund, June ******************************************************** a check. I emailed my address on June 10. June 21st I emailed I haven't received a check. June 30 I emailed and texted that I could pick up a check. I have not heard from him since then. I was very patient waiting and it is clear he really has no plan on refunding what he said he would and he said he did refund it but clearly he did not! All I want is my $250 refunded. It has been 3 months

On March 1st, 2025 I paid $212.00 to Debbie Dolittles Indoor Petting Zoo for an Private Otter Encounter to take place on Sunday April 13th at 12pm. On April 9th, my mother passed away unexpectedly and I had to make a trip to ****** to settle her estate. I spoke with someone from Debbie Dolittle's and let them know what happened when they called me to confirm my appointment. They told me that I could reschedule for a later day. I have been calling for about 2 months trying to reschedule our Otter Encounter. Every time I call, they tell me they will have someone call me back to schedule. I have yet to receive a call. I asked to speak to the manager today and the woman who answered the phone wouldn't even tell me when the manager would call me. I want a full refund of $212.00
