I purchased this door in 2008 with a 25 year warranty on it. According to Codel's Fiberglass ********************* Warranty," should the fiberglass door fail to perform to the defined product standards stated herein; the product, at Codels discretion, would be subject to either repair, or replacement. In this case, the door fails to perform to the "Operation and ******************* which clearly states that the door will open and close effectively, and provide a reasonable barrier to weather intrusion. My door does not open or close effectively and does not provide a reasonable barrier to weather intrusion, therefore, the performance of my door is not consistent with the stated "Standards of Performance. This is evident in the photos I have shared with Codel. Based on these findings, I believe the terms of Codel's warranty apply in this case. Codel has denied my warranty claim and sent me an updated warranty for my records. The updated warranty is quite different from the one I received with the purchase of the door. Revising the conditions of a warranty after purchase is misleading, immoral, and fraudulent. I have attempted to contact Cedel's warranty department numerous and have been told that my claim is denied and closed.
