I am a disabled rider on the ******* currently enrolled in college at S.C.C in Spokane WA., for over 3 years. When receiving rides on Para Transit students ride free which means I ride free. I received a Connect card from S.T.A. last September 2024, which is a card allowing you to prepay on the card and use at will, I did and put $20.00 on the Connect card back when I received it. I used the card 2-3 times to try and learn city bus routes but was unable to learn. Talking to a phone **** on this date, "**** "and his supervisor "*****" they explained the charges to my card which now has a zero balance was either a computer error or the reservationists error for rides mistakenly charging my connect card rather than using my student I.D. I was told that my connect card cannot be reimbursed due to these errors which in no way was my fault and I believe is very unfair. I used the card maybe for 2-3 rides on the city bus which I physically used last year so I should have approx. ***** dollars for a balance.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have contacted our ************************************** and they will be contacting the customer to issue a refund. While we in general have a no-refund policy, we understand that mistakes happen and in this case, can understand why the customer would be confused about which card to use and not needing to add value to his STA issued card.

VERY SILLY THAT THEY CLAIM I MADE THE ***** WHEN IN FACT IT WAS S.T.A. OR WHOMEVER DID THE BILLING WHEN I ALWAYS SHOW MY STUDENT I.D. TO DRIVER WHEN RIDING, I FOLLOW RULES BUT I SEE THE NEED FOR "THE BIG BUSINESS GUY" TO BLAME THE LITTLE OLD CONSUMER.  THANK YOU VERY MUCH B.B.B

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    Sincerely,

1/9/25 Bus driver turned in my lost wallet at the Spokane Valley Transit center. My wallet was never returned to lost and found at the plaza in downtown Spokane. The morning supervisor hasnt done their job and various other employees treat me like a criminal.

Unfortunately, Seans wallet was not turned into our Lost & Found. Weve called **** at ************** where we left a voicemail, following up with an email (attached). If we hear back from ****, well update the BBB file further.

Please let me know if I can provide any additional information.

    Sincerely,
