I purchase a box of grass fed beef but didn't see the expiration date was 6/2021. There were ***** boxes available,, some looked a little squashed from what looked like shipping. I stored it in my freezer for 3 days, still had the recipet. Brought it out and put it on a pan in the oven, meat was ****** frozen and stuck together.As it cooked it smelt weird, I checked the box and it was expired! I opened the oven and it wreacked like wet dog or sweaty gym socks! That is NOT what beef smells like, even grass fed beef that's expired, it smelt like when I had a class in cadaver lab.My kids hated the smell we didn't eat any of it! It was ****** greasy and fatty even though the package said 80% lean. I think it was people meat! I took it back to the store in plastic zip bags in the green and white box it came in. I have pics too. The manager denied ever having the brand, but I remember I bought it from Rosauers meat department, manager returned my money. The brand was '***************' from ******** but I don't think it was the companies fault. I think the delivery, *******, and manager had involvement in that meat problem. The green and white box was rank inside of heavy old freezer smell.
