    I went in on August 7th to try to cancel my membership to which an employee told me I could only cancel my membership via email. I proceeded to email them Wednesday, 9th requesting my membership be cancelled. I was then charged for a monthly membership and requested a refund. I did not receive an email acknowledging this nor a phone call so I proceeded to call the gym to request an update on Friday. An employee told me the owner was on top of it and is out of town to give it a week.After a Fortnite, I noticed I was charged another monthly fee even though I had sent in my cancellation. I emailed them back asking for an update and they havent responded. I have also called their gym/establishment and no one is picking up the phone.Im requesting for an update and refund of both monthly fees to be refunded. I read the contract and it did not state anything about how to cancel their membership so I assumed it was in person which I did and still no action.

    I received an email from the business but they are refusing to refund my monthly membership as they said notice was not given in a timely manner which it was. The issue was they did not provide me the proper channels for cancelling formally. 

    I would be grateful if you could assist with this as they are not providing documentation where it states in the terms and conditions about no refunds.

    Any assistance in getting my refund and full disclosure of their policy is appreciated as I feel a business should alert me of said policy.

    Ive attached their response and appreciate feedback from arbitration.

    Called Anytime Fitness at:*************************************************** On June 20th to cancel my membership and I have since been charged 4 more fees totaling $95.92 thats four charges of $23.98 All I want is my membership cancelled and to be refunded.Ive called the membership location and a home office number and neither one has solved my issue.
