I am rejecting this response because:

the fraudulent charges are mailed to ****** ********* at the **********************************************. After their response, It is very obvious that the company is asking 2 people to pay the same charge. This is called stealing money and personal information by misleading individuals. There must be consequences for this act and attempt to mislead.

    Sincerely,

The consumer has a fundamental mis-understanding of the issue.  Two letters sent to two parties does not make a 'double' debt.

    There is one charge.

I am rejecting this response because:

The Company is refusing to acknowledge that 2 separate individuals are charged with same amount equaling them requesting to be reimbursed double amount. The Company is insulting our intelligence by playing dumb. I am under the impression that I am being targeted, profiled, and discriminated based on my ethnic and national origin due to their perception based on my first and last name that I am illiterate or dont speak, read, write and understand English language.

    Sincerely,

So, my complaint is on the receiving end of the debt collection... hahaha (or rather the potential owing end - however you might want to take it). I am sure that whomever views this complaint is trying to hire this company to collect outstanding debts. However, be aware that their tactics do not make a debtor (myself) want to even work with them... or should I say this one woman's tactics (whom I had to deal with on the evening of 2/13/2024) in particular. When they called me a few months back, I was willing to work with them but they had to wait for me to settle up because I had a business partner completely ditch me and leave me with all of the outstanding bills. I told them I have to wait for some inbound settlements before I can pay. This company is trying to get money for ************************** (the company providing alarm services to my former business). The issue is due to an early termination fee that I had no idea of and unfortunately this obligation is very far down my list of outstanding debts. Anyway, to be perfectly transparent, there was another woman I have been working with (from several months ago) that I gave my complete story to and was willing to work with, as she was willing to work with me, however, this evening (2/13/2024) another woman called me and proceeded to use what I would call, ************* tactics (works sometimes, but not with reasonable people like myself). I am not one to work with people that cannot reasonably discuss disagreements, etc. Anyway, beware of this company if you actually want to get your money! I have many people/companies that owe me money due to my business shutting down and I will not be hiring these guys to represent me! Thanks for listening.

Thank you for the email / complaint received today 2-19-24

An account for collections was listed 11-17-23. A first notice was mailed.

Two phone calls with messages were made 12-5-23 and 12-8-23.  On 2-12-23 we called and were told he was in Europe and to call back.

Eight additional phone calls were made. On 1-15-24 we called and were told he was waiting for a wire transfer to go through and when it did he would pay in full.

On 1-22-24 we called and again talked to *******************.  He said was still waiting for wire transfer from a big client. Asked for another week.

Fourteen additional phones calls were made with two messages left.

on 2-13-24 a collector called - our audit notes say he was rude and said never agreed to pay and we would need to talk to his collegue.   The call was terminated by the Bonded collector when foul language was used by *******************.

He called back a minute later  and askedf if we deal with him cordially.  He explained that lots of people coming after him for money and says will pay but 'not in our timeframe'  Says willing to settle  but not paying full amount.   We told him no settlement at this time.  His response was 'good luck'.

He called back again two times but did not say anything.

We appreciate his situation with his business shutting down but our client expects payment.

If he wishes to make a settlement offer in writing we will take it to our client.

Of course there are two memories of situation here-our audit notes are extemporaniously entered.

    Sincerely,

    ****************

I started receiving some calls from Bonded Adjustment regarding my ******* Emergency Physicians bill(s) in 2022. I had let them know I was working with a debt consolidation company called MMI (money management international) and they were paying ******* Emergency Physicians directly. They told me that *** had not told them this and I let them know that they need to talk with them, it wasn't my job to communicate between the two companies. I was contacted again later regarding the same thing and I let them know that I had already spoken with somebody and let them know that my debt management plan was paying *** directly. The checks were being accepted and the bill was getting paid. I was again told that they were not told about this and that *** had asked them to make the collection. I told them that if they needed to have *** pay them or remove the collection from them then they needed to speak with *** directly. I even emailed them a screenshot of two payments that had been paid through MMI. That email was sent in September 2022. I again was called and I told that person the same thing, let them know that I had sent an email with a screenshot as proof that I had made some payments and that *** was getting their money from my debt consolidation plan directly. I have since paid off about $1000 to *** and the bill is clear. Then on 6/12/23 I am served a court summons for this bill. I have paid my debt to ******* Emergency Physicians and communication between *** and Bonded Adjustment is not something I can force, and it is something I should not be punished for

This complaint self resolved with a secondary contact with Raven.

Her account has been credited in the amount of the unreported payments.
However there was a secondary account not addressed.

A payment arrangement has been made and no further legal action will be taken
provided arrangements are kept as agreed.

    Sincerely,

I was served a summons from Bonded Adjustment. They included a cover page that says to call the collection company first to resolve the issue. I immediately called and set up a payment arrangement with Bonded. I specifically asked over the phone if I still needed to answer the complaint and was told no. I started making the agreed monthly payment and 4 months later was mailed a notice of default judgement and writ of garnishment. I believe Bonded Adjustment intentionally mislead me to not answer the complaint so they could trick me into a default judgement.

    PO ************************************ *****

    Re ************************* 19388455

    Dear BBB:

Thank you for your email dated 2-11-23

A summons and complaint was filed and delivery of the summons was executed on 8-15-22.

I talked to ******* 8-18-22 and a payment arrangement was set for $15.00 each 20th beginning 9-20-23 She indicated that could not have a judgment since her husband was a immigrant and had an interview at the end of the year. She was told judgment would be held unless defaulted on arrangements.

A default judgment was printed but sent to file and not to be entered unless defaulted on payment arrangements.

    Payments were made:

    9-20-22
    10- 20-22
    No payment was received November

On 11-20-22 ******* left a message that she would pay that Friday.
As the November payment did default and she did not contact us default was sent to court on 12-20-22.

A double payment for Nov and Dec was made but after paperwork was sent to the courts.

No payment was made in January and a Late Pay Notice was sent 1-30-23

No further contact was received and a garnishment was filed 2-9-23.

When we do a Summons and Complaint advisement we provide a narrative of what happened and why and what the timeline of what will happen.

We held the default as promised until arrangement was broken.

I trust this resolves this complaint.

    Sincerely,

    **************

I was threatened by the Manger of the boned adjustment company saying how she will garnish my checks again all because I had an attitude about them accepting the money my employer sent to them knowing that my garnish was 60 day. I paid more then what I was supposed to during that time

Thank you for your email regarding ******************************
A garnishment was filed 3-31-22. It was sent by certified mail. Please note we got the certified back but it was not dated.
The employer is responsible for putting the garnishment in place, running it for 60 days, and establishing a 'goal amount'.
On 4-11-22 we spoke to ******* who said 'she thought her account was closed.'
A payment arrangement was offered after the writ was expired and we asked her to please call back after the writ was terminated.
We do not control when the garnishee defendant sends funds. We received a call from the 'new' payrolling company who said money would be sent 'a fixed amount'
On 8-19-22 ******* called us at 3:22pm We advised based on conversations with the payroll company it appeared that she has worked something out with them.
An arrangement of $100.00 was offered and accepted that was to start 8-25.
    That payment was made 8-25-22.
