  The owner gave me an estimate for removal of 2 trees. His estimate included a Free removal of a cluster of bamboos and free trimming of 2 shrubs. The tree removal work was done on 06/13/2025. But the free services he indicated on his estimate document was never done. I reminded him over and over again about the bamboo removal (I did not bother to ask about the shrub trimming- I sensed he was not going to do it) but nothing was done about it. My yard waste bin was filled up with the branches and leaves of the cut trees without my permission. And smaller branches were left in my yard (branches that should have gone to the chipper). This is not the first time that I had a tree removed. But this is the worst experience I ever had. I expected a professional transaction but I was disappointed. I paid my invoice up to the last cent but the service I received was so unprofessional and not what was agreed upon.

  First off, we are very disappointed that Ms. ********* wouldn't respond to our many calls and texts after the work was completed so we could address her issues and give her some compensation but chose to write the BBB with many false statements.  

  It started off on the wrong foot when she got mad at one of the office staff and said she never wanted to deal with her again.  She was telling us we needed to deal with the permit for her trees.  We do the business licensing for each city but not the permitting process. Then she said we needed to type up an official letter for the neighbors to go into their yard to clean up any debris.  ***** has been in business since 1988 and has never had an issue without neighbors signature.  But, we composed a letter and sent it over.

  True the original estimate did have more on it.  She took the largest tree off the estimate and another tree.  We rewrote the contract and she signed the new one that had no freebies on it, just the two trees she wanted done.

  We always attach the sketch ***** draws and give it to the crew so they know which trees they are doing and the location.  Unfortunately for us the crew did all the freebies because they were on the sketch.  

  The truck was so full with chips that they couldn't even put the tools back so they were loaded in a personal vehicle.  They did a clean up of the yard, but there was no room to put the debris so one of the ground guys suggested to put it in a yard tote.  The crew has been told since this happened to never do that again without asking the customer if that is okay first. 

  The bamboo was cut off at ground level but not removed due to we don't run it through the chipper, this is what should have gone into her yard tote.  We don't know if she expected the crew to dig up the roots, but we don't do that. 

  In conclusion, we offered many times to pay her some money back for using her yard tote.  She wouldn't answer our calls or return them.  We apologized over and over with no response.  Nothing more that we could do.
