On July 1st, 2025, at approximately 1:28:03 PM, I sent *********** LTC, equivalent to $2,004.75, to my newly opened CoinMe LTC wallet address provided within their app.Litecoin typically processes quickly, and after several hours of not receiving the funds in my account, I knew something was wrong. I went to **************************** to track the transaction and confirmed that it was fully completed and had 6/6 confirmations, meaning it was successfully sent to the address provided by CoinMe.I double-checked the receiving address in the CoinMe app, and it matches the one I used. I attempted to reach CoinMe customer support via their website form, filling out all required information, but received no response. Their site also states: For immediate assistance, you can also contact our customer support team directly at ***************. I called this number but was unable to get through to a live agentthe call ended without any ******* this point, I have received no communication or assistance, and my $2,000+ in crypto is still missing. This is unacceptable and leaves me extremely concerned about the safety of funds on their platform.Initial Complaint

On 5/17/2025, I purchased Bitcoin (amount: $[Enter Amount Paid]) from a Coinstar machine. CoinMe's website advertised instant access and stated no CoinMe account was needed. Post-purchase, the receipt mandated a CoinMe account linked to my verified phone *************). I updated my existing CoinMe account ****************** but the purchased Bitcoin was never *********** attempts to contact CoinMe support were severely obstructed by their chatbot system, requiring hours just to figure out how to submit a ticket to an agent. The ticket submission form demanded excessive personal data and photo uploads (ID, receipt, selfies, Coinstar location details not on receipt) and repeatedly timed out, losing all entered information. This process took days and multiple frustrating *********** first support ticket was closed unresolved days later with an irrelevant template reply about upgrading my account, completely ignoring my issue of the missing Bitcoin deposit. After more effort, I submitted a second ticket. This led to CoinMe asking which of my accounts to keep (I had tried opening another in desperation for access to my funds). Minutes after I confirmed my primary account, ********************** locked it without any warning, explanation, or email notification. An alleged message regarding the lock was posted to my support ticket, which I could not access due to the locked account.A subsequent attempt to submit another support ticket about the locked account and still-missing funds resulted only in a vague pop-up message stating my case was being forwarded, with no further communication or resolution from CoinMe.This constitutes a failure by CoinMe to deliver the purchased product, a denial of access to my funds and account without due process or clear communication, and the creation of significant barriers to customer support. ********************** has not resolved these critical issues despite my multiple attempts to engage with them. Furthermore, their fee structure was not clearly disclosed.Initial Complaint

Without warning Coinme terminated my account. All of my purchase amounts and dates were stored on my account. Gone. My bitcoin is gone. All proof that I bought and held bitcoin is gone. They gave no reason why my account was terminated other than there was activity that violated their terms of service. What activity? The decision to close is not reversible and any further contacts I have with them will be gathered for investigative purposes. I have never attempted to contact them at all. I feel threatened that I can't ask wtf happened under threat investigative purposes. H*** of a way to run a business. Won't be doing business with them again....I kinda feel like this is a bitcoin grab....Initial Complaint

On 5/11/25 I sent crypto currency to coinme that I intended to use withdraw cash from an ATM. This is a service provided by them. The funds went to the block chain and have been sitting there, completed. For a week now. I have contacted support regarding an update daily. I am only told there will be an update provided when there is one and it is being worked on. I feel as though they have taken my funds. $220.Initial Complaint

A misleadingly named wallet caused me to accidentally use an unsupported network to send crypto to my Coinme account. The transaction was successful on the blockchain, and the blockchain shows the amount I sent in the balance of the wallet I sent it to. It is extremely important that I get this issue resolved quickly , as it's $100 that is just gone. I have put multiple tickets in since the incident with no response aside from the automated ones telling me that they will get back to me as soon as possible. That's not acceptable for any type of service that involves finances.Initial Complaint

On 5/11/25 I purchased $900 worth of bitcoin through a coinstar machine which will then transfer to my coinme account that I created the same day. When I created the coinme account it locked me out immediately not allowing me to log in. I've emailed customer care many times without any help to resolve this issue. Without me able to log in my $900 is just sitting in my coinme account without me having any access to my bitcoin that I purchased.Initial Complaint

I made a purchase of crypto using coinme via a coinstar kiosk on April 1, 2025 at the grocery story Luckys on ************************************************************ I purchased $900 to setup my initial crypto wallet. I then was notified to create a coinme account to gain access to the wallet. I created an account and tried to verify my ID via the app. I had difficulty completing the verification, contacted their support and created a ticket (Ticket #*****). A month later, and multiple attempts to verify my ID and still no assistance. I contacted coinstar support, since coinme said the transaction hasnt been transferred and basically was told by coinstar support that since coinme is 3rd party, they are responsible. Ive been getting the run around from coinme from the get go. I understand there are scams and whatnot, but I spent my money to get crypto and all I did was pay a kiosk $900 to waste a month contacting an email that wont do anything but tell me try again. After contacting coinstar support again for a refund, they told me all they can do is verify I made the purchase and its valid. Basically coinstar support cant do anything to help with getting a refund from coinme but verify the transaction is legit, not my ID. I find it frustrating that a company can say verify your Id, and just take your money claiming anything they want by not verifying and racking up money by claiming bad ID or whatever they say. I basically paid coinme to contact them, and pay their support salaries because they dont do anything but tell you GO F YOURSELF. Please assist. Im very ****** off and dont have any other options, $900 to me is a lot of money and Id like to get my money back and not support scammers claiming theyre a company. Please help. Ive patiently tried to simply verify my ID to get access to my own God **** money and just want my money back.Initial Complaint

On 4/1/2025 I transferred ********* btc to my Coinme wallet. Received verification in my wallet. I attempted to sell *** got error message. Then I was locked out of my account. Now I can not access my wallet to transfer or sell my btc. Ive contacted support to get access to my wallet. I keep getting lied to about getting fixed. This is now been 16 days and I can not get help or resolution. I have never experienced anything like this in my lifetime. The btc are mine not Coinme. I want to get my assets.
