            I contacted Bowman Morton to make some custom brackets. I also provide the drawing of the floor plan joist layout to show the angle of the bracket. I wanted to make sure there was no confusion and since they are the manufacture, showing them the drawing seemed like the best way to alleviate any mistakes; however they made the wrong angle on 23 of the brackets. This was unfortunate because the framers could not proceed with the job and the job was delayed. Dan blamed me because on one of the bracket orders, there was a letter L. Apparently the letter L designated Left Skew so they disregarded the drawing and bracket application and made the bracket with a left skew. I had to pay again to have the bracket made correctly. It would have been nice if they would have clarified the order before they made the brackets, or at least ask the question, the floor plan joist layout that I sent didn't match the skew lettering? In the end, it’s the customer’s fault that they made the wrong bracket.
