I received an email on 12/18/24 from ******* ******* of Geek Tech saying they were renewing a Secure Pro plan for 3 yrs for $547.20 and charging me since I have auto-pay enabled to my acct. I dont believe i have ever ordered this. If I want to cancel I was to call 1+************* When I called to cancel he asked for my ID # on the email (*******). Then he asked me to get on my computer for him to cancel my order. I refused. He then said I would continue to keep getting these emails if I did not get on my computer with him. I refused again. He said goodbye and hung up. There was also an Active Key #********** in this email but he never asked for it. I did not order this. I have no idea if they have any of my "account" info that the email said they were charging to within 24 hours if they did not here back from me. Definitely felt like a scam. Sure hope you have a way to shut this outfit down. Don't know if I will get a charge yet. But definitely want a refund and need to know how they got my "account" info.Initial Complaint

I received an email today from Geek Tech (ankit ***) saying that I enabled auto pay and they have charged me $263.52 for a Secure Pro plan for 3 years. At the bottom of the email it said i i want to cancel my plan call this number, ************* within 24 hours. I did not order this plan. I called and the first person hung up on me. I called back and a different person answered but he knew my name (both had strong Indian accents). They both wanted me to go onto my computer to type into my browser to get a cancellation form and told me that my bank account had already been charged (not a credit card.) I said i will not type in my browser and I would never give out bank account information. The second person hung up on me. I have called back 3 times. It goes to voice mail of an ********* ******* The call back number on my phone reads ************ in Seattle, WA, which does not match the number I type in. This is a scam.Initial Complaint

I received an email that said I purchased something for a year at $498 that would be billed to my account. If I wanted to cancel call 801-471-0461. I didn't order anything and wasn't familiar with this company. When I called I heard children yelling in the background and the guy said that someone must have ordered in on a computer, etc. I told him I didn't have a computer and no one had access to my phone. I believe this is a fraudulent company and/or maybe being scammed.Initial Complaint

The company has tried to collect money from me through emails. and I haven't bought or ordered anything from them. I don't want to give them any information. about a year ago I got a bogus Amazon help phone call & the people started removing cash from Amazon. I got that scam denied payment , so this may be the same company. My credit cards are aware of this. I want them to quit contacting me. their contact number is 855-596-2076.Initial Complaint
