      Very poor experience. Purchased a refrigerator, Albert Lee employed a shady 3rd party installer (based out of *****). They did $450 of damage to our home! The installers were very rude and would not take responsibility for the damage they did. Worse yet was dealing with the Manager at Albert Lee who was terrible. We were long time, loyal customers but will never do business with them again. They simply do not care.

      We empathize with your frustrations, but we do believe our team has taken the step to address this matter fairly and in accordance with our policies. On January 20, the day of your scheduled delivery, our Store Manager was contacted regarding damage that you said were done by our delivery team. You expressed frustration, stating that our team was "rude," "unprofessional," and failed to complete the delivery after you confronted the delivery team about the damage. Even though you demanded Albert Lee take full responsibility for damages that we had no chance to see or confirm, our Store Manager promptly began an investigation.

      We found that our delivery team initially felt unable to complete the delivery due to how they were treated while maneuvering the appliance upstairs. While we expect our team to fulfill their delivery commitments, we also respect their right to remove themselves from situations where they feel they are being treated unfairly. We also acknowledged your concerns regarding our teams professionalism and looked into why they left the site.  It was confirmed by their supervisor who also spoke to you that it was best for them to leave the situation due to the aggressive tone in the conversations.

      To resolve the matter, our Store Manager arranged for another delivery team to return later that same day (January 20) and complete the delivery. Afterward, you contacted us again to discuss the damage to your home and requested that Albert Lee take full responsibility. Our Store Manager was in contact with you throughout that day and attempted to explain that,per our standard process, our team needed to assess the reported damages before moving forward with a claim. We understand that this process did not move as quickly as you had hoped, but please know that we have taken every possible step to address this matter fairly and in accordance with our policies. The claim was processed through the claims department, and you were provided with the necessary steps to proceed.

      Ordered a washing machine and got it delayed 3 times over a month period. They said it was on back order and that there was nothing they can do about it even though we didnt have a washing machine to wash our clothes for over a month time. Then they gave us the wrong delivery date after we had canceled our plans for that day and informed us that it was actually coming the next day. They show up and make a big mess, they dont even want to clean up and they refuse to hook up the washer due to the plumbing even though we have had several plumbers come by and insure us that it wouldnt be a problem. The only resolution they gave is to take back the machine and be without a washer for even longer and having wasted a month for nothing or us to fix the plumbing problem. No accountability what so ever on their behalf regarding the delays, poor communication and poor delivery service and all we get is a sorry. Highly recommend not going here to do your business because the moment something is wrong they pull their hands up.

      I would NEVER buy another appliance from Albert Lee. Store Manager, (***************************), (********************* )salesman and (******** ), ***************** could have cared less that my washer and dryer were both experiencing significant problems one week after being installed. I asked to have my appliances replaced and all three said NO. No one engaged with the manufacturer so there was no history until today when I had to have a repairman come out to fix the issue.No manuals for either machine were included which makes me wonder if these appliances had been returned and then sold to me! *****

      Purchased a complete kitchen package from Albert Lee in September 2023. IM 80 years old in all my years this is the worst company. They knowingly delivered and installed multiple damaged appliances. They damaged my cabinets, walls, floor and more. one example they delivered a damaged refrigerator from Electrolux. The door was damaged on the top, first they blamed me. The insulation had pushed the trim out. i agreed to accept it if they replaced the door or the refrigerator. the door was ordered and showed up at my home i notified them it had arrived. Weeks later they showed up. In the mean time the refrigerator started vibrating and jumping around damaging the floor and appliance frame work. ****************** came over to repair the problem the compressor was damaged when it was installed there were missing and bent parts. i was here watching the service tech. He did not cause the problems. Been trying to get the service report. for months. albert lee acknowledged the floor damage and other damage. they have blamed the service tech. Albert Lee has the report, will not give me a copy. they said i should get it from Electrolux. Electrolux told me they will not give it to me because Albert Lee paid for it. Fortunately i had a service tech out a few days later after the first one i paid for that report. Albert Lee got it any way. The report they are withholding shows what was repaired. So i have a damaged refrigerator that i don't know what was repaired. on 5/15/24 i agreed to let Albert Lee come to my home to repair the destroyed frame work. from February.That's 4 months! They were not capable to to do the repair. I purchased the material, sanded and stained it myself. they obviously didn't fix the floor. i agreed to fix the wall damage which required patching and painting. they repaired the damaged door *****. now the refrigerator is vibrating again off and on. More to come on the 4 freezers delivered and nefariously installed 3 of them rejects.

      Hello ****************,

      When our Management team spoke with **************** about this issue they explained that it is our practice to give our customers the chance to inspect all product at time of delivery and prior to install.  **************** rejected a freezer at the first delivery.  When we arrived for our second delivery, **************** was convinced that we delivered that same unit and installed it the second time we came out.  We have provided **************** with the serial numbers of all units brought to his home, including the first one he rejected.  We acknowledged that we damaged the drywall next to the oven when we installed that piece.  **************** said he would repair it and did not ask for assistance or compensation.  We noted minor damage to the cabinet when we did our preliminary inspection, so that was pre-existing.  We did not damage his cabinets or floors. When **************** refers to a damaged refrigerator from Electrolux.  He is referring to the unit we brought out on our first visit.  He inspected the unit and accepted it.  When we returned to install it, we found that the factory foam had seeped out of a door seam on the interior.  This was a manufacturing defect, and we contacted Electrolux, who swapped the door. According to ****************, the tech told him in confidence that we caused the compressor issue when we installed the unit, but refused to put it in writing.  *************** implied to me that this was because the tech was intimidated by ***. He also claims that there was a third visit by a service tech, and that we are withholding that report from him.  Neither ALA nor Electrolux have any record of this 3rd visit, and **************** could not recall the exact date, the techs name, or show any paperwork from this visit.  We have provided all copies of tech visits and their reports to ****************. During our last visit to *************** home on 5/15, Albert lee and 2 Installers pulled all the units and re-installed them to show **************** that they were properly installed.  We do not have any record of the destroyed framework he is referring to.  The material he is referring to was the wood filler our installation crew added to the opening because it was too tall for the new fridge/freezer combo.  This is work he would have had to hire a contractor to perform, since his opening was not to spec.  Since we were pulling the units anyway, I agreed to install it at no charge if he provided the materials.  In conclusion, we apologize for the inconvenience during your appliance purchase and wish you the best going forward.

      I am VERY pleased with the interactions I had with Albert Lee Appliances to date. My journey started when I purchased a "scratch and dent" ** Top-Loading washing machine from the *********** Location. I was assured it was only there for a cosmetic scratch, and ** would honor their 1 year parts warranty, if any problems arose.Upon installation, the machine showed signs of defect, and was displaying an "LE" error (load off balance). I tried all diagnostic steps before I called the store back to advise them of the issue I was having.The sales staff forwarded my request to Albert Lee's **************** team for processing. **************** reached out to me and arranged for an ** service person to come and diagnose the issue I was having with the new machine.** Service determined the drum was damaged (possible the machine was dropped). That report was delivered to Albert Lee, and for whatever their reason was, they determined they did not have to honor their warranty to replace my machine.Fortunately for me, ****** realized this was not a fair practice by ** so he sought approval from his manager, to have Albert Lee replace my washing machine, or use the amount I paid, applied to another make or model. It turns out the machine I purchased as "scratch and dent" retailed for $400 more. Seeing this as a barrier to replacement, the salesperson at Albert Lee, Cliff, offered the same ** machine to me at a reduced cost. Knowing I may have to pay more out-of-pocket to get a working machine, ***** made the transaction a lot easier than I anticipated and I was happy to only have to pay <$200 more than I originally paid.I will recommend Albert Lee to anyone I speak with because of this experience!Thank you!

      Would not recommend.Bought high rated washing machine. Turns out it is very loud, bangs a lot when it is in the spin cycle. Technician checked it out. That is just the way it is. Albert Lee will charge us $200 for "restocking fee" if we wanted to return it and buy a different washing machine. Very disappointed.****** learned. Never again.

      When you contacted Albert Lee on 1/22/24 regarding the unit making Very loud banging noises, our team promptly sent a technician out on 1/26/24 to ensure that the unit was properly installed, and the shipping base was removed. The technician confirmed that the unit was indeed hooked up correctly and functioning within the manufacturer's specifications. We understand your frustration, but any sounds or movements you are experiencing are within the normal range for this model.

      We understand your frustrations regarding our restocking fee but given the results of the service call and the fact that the unit has been used and is functioning within the manufacturer's specifications, there is a restocking fee associated with returning these types of appliances.

      We sincerely apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience this may have caused you. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer service team for more information.

      Last Thursday, Jan. 11, around 2:45 p.m. I was attempting to drive up ************ to ******** but was blocked by a large Albert Lee Appliance truck. I honked several times; after a few minutes a short, stocky, dark-haired man came out from somewhere, got into the passenger side of the cab, picked up some paperwork and went back. I honked again. Eventually he came out followed by a taller man with light hair and a ***** who went behind the while. Before entering the passenger door of the cab the dark-haired man made an obscene gesture and called me a f*cking b*tch! The truck backed out of ************ and I was able to leave.These employees' lack of consideration, by blocking traffic, and rudeness by ignoring me (or anyone else who wanted to get through) and rude, obscene language is unacceptable.I have never traded with Albert Lee--and now I never will.**********, *******

      Thank you for bringing this incident to our attention. We take all feedback seriously and strive to provide the best customer service possible. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by our delivery truck on ************. Our driver made the decision to park where he did because the road is quite narrow, and finding suitable parking spots can be challenging for a delivery truck of our size. We also know that there are 2 other streets that have access to ******** NW and Sylvan is not the only way to get to ********.However, we understand that this does not excuse our driver's behavior or the use of offensive language.

      Upon investigating the incident, we have learned that our delivery driver did acknowledge the situation and informed you that the truck would be moved in a few minutes as the driver was finalizing the delivery paper work with our customer. We understand that the continuous honking was frustrating while he was trying to complete his duties but we regret that our driver lost his temper and responded inappropriately.

      Please accept our sincere apologies for this lapse in professionalism. We have used this incident as a training opportunity to ensure that our drivers are better equipped to handle difficult situations and maintain composure under pressure. Appropriate disciplinary action has been taken to address this matter.

      We understand that this experience may have left a negative impression, and we are truly sorry for that.       I was a complete idiot in forgetting to read reviews on Albert Lee Appliances. Do not use them!!! They installed my top of the line very expensive dishwasher incorrectly. Then when I called to tell them they needed to come back out to fix it, they told me that they probably wouldn't because I "signed off" on the installation. I pursued this and was then told that they might be able to come out, but they would have to charge me for it. In other words, an incorrect installation if free, but if you want it installed correctly, it will cost you!! Add to this the complete rudeness and gaslighting going on with their staff. NEVER buy from Albert Lee!!!!

      I hate to write this review. Historically we have purchased a number of appliances from Albert Lee and want to support a local business. We cannot continue to do so. We purchased a Beko range October 13, 2020. It worked well for less than year when the oven stopped heating. We purchased the Albert Lee extended warranty and reported the problem. It took about three months, countless calls to both ****, Albert Lee and the ******************* before we saw anything happen and get it repaired. Cut to two years later and the SAME part fails again- oven stops heating. This was in July. Three months later and our oven still doesnt work. We have been without our oven for six months in the three years we have owned it. Albert Lees customer service has been less than impressive both times and Beko is useless. The sales associate touted Beko when we purchased it and yet, they have done little to remedy the situation. It has been such a disappointing experience.

      I bought a KitchenAid downdraft range from Albert Lee, Tacoma store, 5/19/23. I was instructed to schedule my own install using their "Partners List", a list entitled "Install Professionals". Using this list I called ******** Appliance in Tacoma. I was told by "*******" ********** clerk that the cost of the install would be $480 plus $10 haul away. Sounded like a lot, but I said OK. By the day the range was installed 2 months later the charge was up to $730.84. Later I was reviewing my monthly credit card bill to find an unauthorized charge of $262.76 from **********. I called ******* who said that was for taking out my old range. I reminded her that I was quoted $480 plus $10 haul away with no mention of a separate charge for taking out my old range. When I asked why I had never been given a receipt for anything, she explained that "no one wants receipts anymore." When I insisted, she emailed receipts. On install day I was told the vent under the house needed replacement because it wasn't up to code, and a fire hazard. ******* told that would be $395.64 more. Instead I called a BBB website vent installer who went into the crawl space to report nothing wrong with the vent work and that it was code. (this guy didn't charge me anything.) ********** never looked under the house at the duct work. In total there were 8 steps I took to get this range in place (including my hiring my own electrician) and it took 2 months. I called the Albert Lee to speak to the manager, *****, about my disappointment in their service, but she was unconcerned/unwilling to do a thing. Albert Lee has completely distanced themselves from customer's as though whatever happens after the appliance is dropped off is not their problem. But, it IS their problem. Formerly loyal customers, like me, will disappear and the numbers of customers walking through their showrooms will dwindle. They'll never know what happened.
