I noticed charges occurring in my bank account for a peoplesearch123 for $39.97. I had no idea what it was, have never created an account with them or heard of them. I had to look up what it was. Then realized this has happened to other people. I reported it as fraud to my bank account and cancelled my debit card. Now I have another $39.97 charge! Im so confused. Ive been calling their so-called customer service number ************ and they are foreign rude women who demand your name and card info and if you dont give it to them they hang up on you. Now they do not answer my number after calling repeatedly. It is a complete scam company. Police need to be involved they are cyber-robbing people.Initial Complaint

I am seeking to have my telephone number removed from internet search with People Search. I have contacted the organization several times to no avail. Also contacted ****** on numerous occasions to have my personal phone number removed from the internet. My family is being harassed by an unknown person ************* who initially stated he had mistakenly called our phone number. And this unknown person continues to call and make harassment/threatening/intimidating calls. The caller has stated finding our home through internet search and says he will be coming to our home to die. Please help with this situation.Business response

After canceling the trial on the first day because they lied about having results they didn't for a search, I have canceled, or attempted to (I filled out the form and submitted it) at least 4 times. Yet they continue to try to charge me $39 and have recently started trying to charge me $2 to see if they can push the larger charge through next. It got to the point I couldn't even keep money in my account. Also, I can't get any response from customer service.Initial Complaint

Peoplesearch.com just took 39.95 dollars off my cash app. My son just sent me 50 to help me pay one of my bills because I’m on disability. Now I can’t pay my bill and I did not authorize them to take anything!!! I don’t know what I’m going to do now! I’m so upset!!!Initial Complaint

I opened up an account here because the price stated it was $1.00. Then I realized I was charged another $1.50. (To be honest I only opened this up because it was part of a list of things I had to do to win a big gift card). Days later I see a $39.97 charge that I NEVER agreed to, NEVER saw it on the signup screen either. I call the company to cancel and they had horrible service. The person on the other line had to call me back AND still no service I couldn’t make out what she was even saying. I ended up sending an email because I am absolutely frustrated at this point.Initial Complaint

I signed up for the advertised 1$ report and they automatically subscribed me for a $29.99 subscription a week late. the company was completely rude when i called to receive my refund they had a nasty foreign lady who hung up on me twice. Then u have to mail in a request to receive your cash back to something they sneakily sign you up for . its a gag and a rip off and worst of all i never used the reports cuz it wouldn't load so I had to use a diff site anyway . it was a waste and a hassle and they should be closed down due to fraud and manipulative practices. having customers have to go through such a strenuous process to receive moneyback that they never rightfully agreed to give up is predatory.Initial Complaint

I contacted this company well over two months ago stating that there were two charges that were not authorized on my bank statement after talking to my underage daughter found out that she was on this website. It's website claims to be 100% free and it says nowhere that is going to charge you $40 a month for services.? Bottom line is I explain to them what happened and they told me to fill out a refund application which I did and I did not hear anything back so I emailed them again a few days ago and they are trying to say they're still reviewing my application. After researching the company online everyone says they are a scam site obviously? I don't know what I need to do to get my money back from this company but I've asked nicely and I've also threatened them with the legal action. Please help! I just want my refund
