The owner of Handsomeland, ****** Ma, is supposedly an electrician who had stayed at our hotel for about a month. In the duration of his stay, he had intentionally shorted our electrical lines, TV cables, and knocked out our wifi all without our knowledge. We do not have any experience with this type of work so by intentionally putting these our of services, we would have no choice but to depend on him, thus him taking advantage of us. We found out later when we had inspected his room. He had changed our all of outlets, and had access to the wires in the building. From there he had shorted our cable television and had no service for almost two weeks. We had multiple complaints from guest, and had to offer multiple free nights. After we found out that he had been sabotaging our building, we kicked him out. He then knocked out our wifi for 4 days. Apparently, he had three of our wireless routers on his netgear account. ****** only contacted us after we had an IT technician restart our whole system. He knew that we had reset our wifi routes.After that, he forged one of our checks after he hired him for one job. He manufactured 6 checks, attempted to cash in over $900. He copied the owners signature and used ****** quickbook, and echeck according to him to forge this checks. He now has placed a lien on our property claiming that we owe him $10,000. He did no such job on our property. He would do odd things here and there claiming that it would improve our electrical system. He bought equipment and materials out of his own pocket. He is trying to collect the things that he did on his own accord. According to ******, he spent about $8400. He told us on multiple occasion that he was doing this for free, for our benefit. That he would not charge us a dime, and this is quoting him directly. He has also targeted another propter, the Super 8 in Lynnwood, and the owner there described the same exact pattern what ****** Ma had done.
