  I selected SW plumbing because I had used there services previously to flush a water heater. They responded quickly and diagnosed the problem was the age of the heater. They could not replace the 50 gal tank with the same size, since the vent would require a new hole. So they suggested a 40 gal gas tank with direct side vent. The plumber said the side vent costs more and the estimate for the job would be $6800.00. I needed the repair done, so agreed to the cost. After the job was done, I was sent pictures of the tank including model #. I researched the retail cost of this tank and found the price was $1848.14. So I contacted a SW supervisor and asked her why it took $5000 to install the tank? She said that was they normal cost for overhead. So I told her I would check out what normal was. I contacted two other local major plumbing companies. One quoted $3975 plus tax and the other a range of $4200-$4400. For same natural gas direct vent, including removal of old tank and all vents needed for new tank. So I have been overcharged by $2000+ and dont understand why!!!!

  Southwest plumbing is the one to call .They came out they did an estimate estimate was approved. They did the work and even though some extra costs were involved. They did not charge me. They remained honest and stuck to their commitment. I really appreciate the integrity of this company, thank you Southwest Plumming

  This past week we had a plumbing emergency that turned out to be bigger than we initially thought, and we quickly became overwhelmed with the potential disaster. Our home is old, with the expected cast iron pipes, *********** wiring, etc. It needs a lot of work there's a long list of improvements on our years long plan to be tackle. When the cast iron main return from one of the bathrooms became clogged, we did everything we could to fix it and then called plumbers. It turned out the pipe was nearly rusted through, wasted built up and blocking everything. A previous plumber made a shoddy repair that led us to believe the issue was resolved and we could simply wait until that improvement reached the top of the list. Well, on this week it shot to the top of the list.From the moment we reached out to South West, we were met with competence, professionalism, and compassion. They recognized the urgency of the situation and wasted no time in getting a team to our house to fix the problem. They took the time to confirm the severity of the issue and ensure we were being taken care of. ****** wants a surprise plumbing issue like this but they handled it with extraordinary compassion and professionalism, completely putting our minds at ease and worries to rest.What blew us away was the level of dedication and commitment everyone we talked to showed in helping get us our bathroom ***********. They went above and beyond, assessing the issue, scheduling us quickly, the technicians doing the work, every part of the experience. It was evident they genuinely cared about our well-being and wanted to minimize the disruption to our lives.It's rare to see large companies, or many small ones for that matter, actually prioritize people and show the kind of compassion and technical expertise that South West did. They're customer service, value, and expertise is truly commendable. We feel very fortunate to have found a company we can trust and rely on for all our plumbing needs.

  The entire South West Team provided prompt and excellent service solving our plumbing issue this past week from investigating the problem and determining solution; repair and installation; as well re-jetting and functional check. The entire team was professional, courteous, and friendly; keeping us informed throughout the process. Would like to recognize in particular the effort provided by ******, who handled the demolition and installation phase. We appreciate how he meticulously cleaned up, reinstalled the outdoor slate tiling after refilling the excavation hole, as well as moving our laundry room appliances back in place and reconnecting everything. Thank You South West Team!

  I called South West Plumbing because I had a water heater leak.The technician checked my current water heater and said it was installed incorrectly and , I believe he said not up to code. Anyway, he gave me several different quotes. The one that made most sense was naturally the most expensive. I went ahead and had it done thinking my home insurance would cover some of the cost which was over $4000. The technician did a great job with the installation. This is not against the worker at all.My insurance company called me after the work was complete and told they only cover damages but not the new water heater. This was my mistake not to call them first. My insurance adjuster said that she did research for my area and found that the price they charged (over $4000) was over double what any other company would have charged.Its too bad that companies are able to rip people off like this legally. I will NEVER call them again and will be sure to let everyone I talk to know to not call them. I just wish there was something else I could do. Such obvious price gouging. Should be illegal.

  I called South West plumbing to repair a cold waterline in the crawlway under my home that had frozen The homes' water had been shut off to avoid any damage. About an 18 inch segment of 1/2 inch cpvc pipe under the house leading to a hose bib had frozen and needed to be replaced.Even and his partner from South West plumbing were very courteous and professional.So far so good----HOWEVER, THE ***** OF THE REPAIR WAS SIMPLY OUTRAGEOUS!!! I was charged $1406 to replace about 18 inches of easily accessible 1/2 inch cpvc. This was after a $71 military discount and a $71 senior discount had been subtracted. I feel the price I paid was CLOSE TO BLACKMAIL. I had to commit because I couldn't even flush a toilet until the repair was completed.For taking advantage of a person in a difficult position, I wish I could rate South West plumbing even lower than one star.P.S. If anyone in South *************** reads this review, please reference invoice Number one one five five zero four six zero five seven to ascertain if an error was made to my billing.
