      I was charged three times for a one night stay on 07/05/2021 to 07/06/2021. I booked on Hotels.com and paid on this website. My booking was reserved and paid for through Hotels.com. However, the Woodspring suites Redmond Seattle location charged me an additional two times for this one day stay. Meaning I was charged $123.74 through Hotels.com, and an additional $123.74 twice, so $247.48 by the hotel. Meaning I was charged three times for one night, equaling $371.22. I have contacted the hotel and have only received a refund of one of the $123.47 charges. I have bank statements that show three charges, and only one refund. I would like to be refunded the $247.48 the hotel charged me when my reservation was already paid in full through Hotels.com.

      People should be warned about this place. Only after my experience, while on the phone with Choice Hotels Customer Relations did I find out that this WoodSpring Suites is actually privately owned and only a Choice Hotels partner, meaning Choice Corporate could not help me resolve the issue. I'm honestly not even sure what they did was legal, but I have no idea how to resolve the problem at this point, so I simply want to warn others.In March I signed my son up to participate in a special 6 week summer program at a school down the road. This summer program is only offered at the Redmond location at the ******* location. Even though we live on the east coast, we planned for months to make this work. I booked a room at the WoodSprings Suites from July 1st, 2022 - August 16th, 2022 (46 nights) because it was within walking distance from the school and avoiding the need for a car would help us save money on this already expensive trip.I booked the room through their own website on March 18th and received a discount for booking more than 28 nights. My room rate was $69.21 / night for a total of $3,183 (before taxes). I received a confirmation email that day as well. On 6/23 I received another confirmation email.On 6/24 I called the hotel front desk to let them know that due to flight costs, we would actually be arriving on 7/3 instead of 7/1 as originally expected. I spoke with *******. He said that would be fine and made a note on the reservation.On 6/26 I receive another confirmation email "Your Stay with Us is Just Days Away".On 7/2, I decided to call one more time to confirm the 7/3 arrival. I spoke with *******, who told me that my reservation was cancelled on May 10th, by the regional manager *****************. In order to get my room, I would have to pay a rate of $156 / night, more than double my original rate. We cancelled the entire trip, trying an online program instead. If I found out after flying across the country, I don't know what we would have done.
