    We originally began communication with **** Silva of Silva Built LLC on October 8th 2024 at which point he came to our residence at *************************************************************** on October 12th 2024 to review our requested home renovations and provide us with an invoice for the project. We received an invoice on November 1st 2024 that required editing and we received the correctly edited invoice on November 22nd 2024. We provided a cashiers check in the amount of $4,500 on November 26th 2024 as a down payment to purchase materials and begin the project with a proposed start date of December 16th 2024. The invoice originally included amounts to purchase and install 4 windows, purchase misc. material trim fasteners, window install labor, labor for removing and replacing ******, Sheetrock pactchwork to match, exterior doors, exterior door install, garage wall framing materials, fasteners and hardware needed and a standard dump fee of $150. **** Silva did not return to our house until January 13th 2025 to begin our home renovations and he and his 2 co-workers worked January 13th-January 17th 2025 and discovered more repairs that needed to be done. So **** Silva then requested an additional payment of $4,700 to be made for in which he accepted $1,000 on January 17th and then another payment of $3,700 on January 21st 2025. This was to continue working since the majority of our $4,500 down payment went to purchasing doors and windows and to cover labor to remove and reframe garage wall, drywall remove, install and finishing, service calls to uninstall and reinstall our garage door. He continued to work for a few hours a day sporadically after that stating that he had lost his crew members and that it would just be him working. He worked approximately 5 times after this discovered more to be repaired. After receiving another $2800 on 2/25/25 all of our projects are still incomplete/damaged and he refuses to come and work until he receives more money.
