This is regarding camping reservations made for the ******* concert date at the Gorge Amphitheater, originally scheduled for the weekend of June 27, 2020. Due to the pandemic, that show was postponed. I have email correspondence from 05/28/2020 between myself and the management of WC at the time asking to have my reservation held until more information was known about rescheduling. Incidentally, in the same email I asked to have a different reservation refunded, since that show had been cancelled and not postponed. I did receive that refund. I mention this to establish that arrangements had been made and I did not simply "walk away" from my reservation.I recently learned that the ******* show will not be rescheduled for the Gorge, so I reached out to WC via email on 03/14/22 to finally request a refund. I received the following reply on 03/15/2022:Hi ****!Nice to hear from you. We are the new owners of the Wildhorse (lucky us). We are new starting in 2022. I have not heard that ******* will be rescheduled. I do know ***** and ***** did offer refunds during the entire pandemic until they sold the ** to us this year. Let me know when you book a new reservation with us and I will jump in and issue a $50 credit for your next stay with us!Thank you for sleeping with us XOXO Wildhorse Campground ?************** ******************************* I looked up the business license on the *** website and it does appear to be under new ownership, but it's still the same corporate entity. My position is that the new owners are just as obligated to honor the reservations, or to provide a refund or some equal substitute.

I purchased a reservation for the ******* show in 2020. It was postponed and I specifically asked to have my reservation held until information about rescheduling was available. I learned recently that the show will not be rescheduled for the Gorge. So I reached out to request a refund. I received a reply that the business is under new ownership, and they offered me a $50 credit towards my next stay. Well, that's less than half of what I already paid. My response was that when they purchased the business they also purchased the books and that my reservation is still on the books as paid in full. If they are going to play this game, I'll expend the time and effort to file a small claims case.
