      We just spent $17,000. replacing the flooring in our home. Construction was finished 4/21. The flooring was not gapped to allow for expansion so it popped up all over the house. It literally went from wall to wall with no space for movement. We pointed it out within 5 day of closing, and were denied any corrective actions. We went back and forth with other things, paint, front door, front door paint, and other minor issues with fit and finish. All within our legal rights. We didn't file a lawsuit....We just spent $17,000

      A & J Precision Homes, LLC Operated in ************, ** for 15 years and moved to ** in 2022 under the same business name. My home was built by them in 2019 in ************, **. At just 4.5 years old, my home needed to be resided on the South side because fungus was growing under the ****** Board siding. I have spoken to 2 contractors and our citys building inspector. They all agree that the issue began with questionable building practices by A & J Precision Homes.The ****** Board siding, home wrap, OSB will have to be taken down, resided and painted.The OSB and Home wrap were found to be moist and growing mushroom-like wood fungus spores. Our building inspector and 2 contractors think the siding was put on during moist or wet weather and closed up, allowing the fungus spores to grow. I know of 4 other homes near me, built by the same contractor that also have or have had the same issue with the siding. One home was partially resided by A & J Precision Homes because the homeowners complained about the fungus growth. A & J used their same techniques and building materials to reside the south side and the fungus appeared 3 years later. Other A & J homeowners in my area have identified 10 more homes where fungus is growing. These are New Homes I am talking about! I am sure there are many more A & J homes with this problem that I dont know about, as they have built 250+ homes here in ************ on the ** coast. According to the City Building Inspector, only A & J homes seem to have this issue.My siding rebuilding will cost $7,342.43, fortunately my insurance covered most of it. Some of my neighbors werent so lucky.I am writing this review because they have moved their business to ********Potential Home Buyers should be aware of their questionable building practices, as Montana also has some extreme weather.Sincerely,********************* Ocean Shores, **
