10/14/24 I hired Digital Software Labs to develop 'Fun Talking With You' a simple App with 50 dating questions. I did not receive Test Flight Beta testing, as they said. 1/7/25 I found a User can subscribe, but Not cancel easily, without deleting their account! MISREPRESENTED they could, even on website they built.2))1/7 they want $3,000 More to make App work correctly. On Top of $4,800 I paid already. This was NOT DISCLOSED at the beginning!3)) BE AWARE: They want $1,500 More to transfer Trademark and Copyright Rights for App and website to me, which I paid for. I filed Trademark application for mobile application and website with USPTO myself for $250..1/20, 1/28, and 2/17 I asked for Source Code and partial refund ASAP. Developer agreement said "all intellectual property rights in Software belongs to the client (me)". App was to Launch 1/1/25 for big New Year's and *********** Day dating. I could Not send my Press release to 830 Media reporters, because App is Not working correctly. This represents a huge Financial loss for me!

In Jan 23, I began a search to find a web designer who could upgrade my online portfolio.I have been out of work, and needed this upgrade to pursue applying to companies to find my next career in art direction. A good portfolio is important to have in this type of field.I did a search through Bark.com, and was approached by a rep from Digital Software Labs to put their bid in for the job. I was promised excellent service and a quality website tailed to my exact request. I hired them and paid their fee of $300. This took place 01/30/23 (I have a receipt)I sent everything needed, including clear examples that the rep responded saying they completely understand the vision and it will be handled accordingly. I proceeded to put all images together in in organized folders on ****** share drive. Due to the compilation of images I needed to submit, the website work done by Digital Software began in March. The first couple of versions sent to me we incorrect. I sent revisions with clear information, and was always available to go over any misunderstandings. Every time I spoke with the rep, they promised me it would be ready in 24 hours. 24 hours turned into weeks. Nothing was being updated, and it was getting more difficult to get any answers. Each week was missed opportunity for me to look for work.In mid June I requested to speak to a manger.*****. ****** was connected. I emailed with him several times to find answers to when the website might be finished. No replies. The last two days i have called the company, asking to speak with Mr. ************************ I been spoken to in aggressive tone, being told the site is done.I was told by 2 men on the phone that I was acting unprofessionally, and that I need to mind how I am addressing myself. This is unacceptable on numerous levels. 3 months of inability to send a portfolio & apply for jobs. I now have an unfinished website that I need to hire someone else to fix.I have more communication to share if needed.

I am rejecting this response because:

The response from Digital Software Labs makes zero sense.

They claim I had emailed them saying the website is completed. That never happened. Customer satisfaction was not only not achieved, it was 3 months of frustration dealing with a rep from DSL telling me my website will be ready in 24 hours...For three months. After approaching the rep's ******* who promised to get me in touch with a developer to complete the website, I was then ignored for a week. When I called to speak with [*******] ***********************, I was treated very unkindly by 2 different men over the phone. I was told I was acting unprofessionally and to mind my attitude. I paid for a service that was never completed. This should have taken two weeks **** By the way, this website was for me to use as a portfolio for finding a job. I have lost 3 months in this search. I consider it that I lost job opportunities because of DSL's lack of professionalism and ability to get as job done as promised (as paid for in full). Their reply is full of inaccuracies.

1: Job turnaround time inaccurate. not finished in 24 to 48 hours.

2: I was not presented with a package. I never sent and email stating the job was complete. They decided that. So much for "Unlimited revisions" that they claim to stand behind.

3: Terrible customer satisfaction. I was spoken to in an unsatisfactory manner. I would NEVER want to work with these people again.

4: Only NOW is DSL offering to resolve this issue. After treating me so poorly I had to place a complaint with the BBB.

Since this nightmare, I had to hire a new web designer to start over due to the mess this company made of my website on the backend. A waste of my time, energy and money. At the very least, I would like my money back.

    Sincerely,
