      I was told that our services would be covered under our insurance (we have excellent insurance!!) so the exorbitant amount that we were billed seemed like any other insurance related bill. Also, about 6 years ago we had the same services done under a different pricing structure and it was what youd expect from this type of service, no claiming insurance coverage so I was completely surprised when the amount was 5 times that this time!!! Oh, and on their website they proclaim that services are covered under insurance! When I submitted our claim, with an accompanying Doctors letter, we were denied. Lice Knowing You said to appeal this but we did and still nothing! What a scam!!! There is NO WAY this should be allowed!!!

      After our experience, I checked ****** reviewsin the last 3 months, at least two other reviews mention police involvement. This is a pattern. Look elsewhere.Our experience ended with manager ******* yelling profanities at my family, making false accusations, physically pushing my wife, and calling police. We left feeling misled, overcharged, and traumatized.DECEPTIVE BILLING & FEES 20% service feenot disclosed on website or office until arrival when you sign acknowledgment. Exploitative timing for stressed ****************/forms state 15-minute billing increments. Reality: every time rounded up to nearest half-hour. Staff announced actual times (daughter: 3hr 45min, me: 1hr 15min) but receipt showed 4hrs and 1.5hrs. At $150/hour, these "errors" added hundreds, contradicting written policy."Free" 30-day guarantee requires follow-up. Then charged $20/persondocumented nowhere.Scheduled 9am Monday. Our babysitter still in treatment at 8pm due to their mismanagement. Manager tried charging $350/hour "after-hours" rates.POOR SCHEDULING 11-hour ordeal for 4 people. Manager accepted last-minute preschool appointment night before, took staff offsite during our time. We waited hours. Walk-ins accepted despite scheduled appointments. Then charged emergency rates for delays they caused.MANAGER'S CONDUCT When I calmly questioned charges, ******* became verbally aggressive, used profanity, made unfounded racist/homophobic accusations, physically pushed my wife out, called police with false assault claims. She claimed to be recording but admitted to police she wasn't. Police reviewed security footage showing her aggression. We weren't charged.AVOID THIS BUSINESS. Undisclosed fees, deceptive billing, poor management, and aggressive manager made this a multi-thousand-dollar nightmare ending in police involvement. Families deserve better than Lice Knowing You.

      On 8/15/2023 I had a treatment for lice infestation. I was told that insurance will definitely pay for the $624 treatment all I had to do was submit a claim to my insurance company. My insurance company did not cover any part of the payment- almost all insurance companies do not cover lice treatments. I submitted the claim with the Diagnosis code = B852 and Procedure code= A9180. The procedure code given by the lice company was ***** which did not work, it is not a correct code it means "established patient office visit". Patients and BBB needs to know this company is given out false insurance information.
