When I bought my truck, the sales man insisted I pay extra for the lift kit/tire modification coverage because the truck I was buying had an after market lift kit on it and the coverage was necessary so if I had any problems with the lift kit it would be covered. So fast forward a year also should mention that this truck has had nothing but problems and had to bounce from dealership to dealership for 5 months because of a transmission recall that nearly killed me! So anyways, my control arms and ball joints were going bad and needed to be replaced so I do what the WARRANTY says and take it to the dealership I bought the truck from and of course they do the classic okay we will call you with an update I had to call them multiple times to get updates, they told me my truck was done and it was just sitting waiting to be picked up nobody called me to tell me, I had to call to find that out. So I ask did the control arms and ball joints get done? Like it was discussed with ***** the response I got was no? We dont see anything about that here oh thats convenient so I tell them no it was discussed that they were going to contact the warranty that they sold me and get it figured, they told me theyd get back to me well they never got back to me and once again I had to call, they told me that my warranty would only cover half of it!!!! They quoted me $2000, ***** for labor and ***** for the control arms and ball joints, the control arms on the truck are priced at $350, but since they were discontinued they thought it was okay to find the most expensive parts they could find and of course the warranty company was like no because even they know thats ridiculous, the warranty states Replacement of covered parts may be made with parts of like kind or quality, and may be new. rebuilt, or serviceable used components, assemblies or parts. I GOT SCAMMED!!!!!!
