    We used 5-star for a garage installation in May of 2017 - the quoting process, installation process was excellent. We were extremely happy. Paid $2,975 for a garage which I would estimate is a slightly larger than average 2-car garage... call it 20x24'ish... was very happy.And then, early this year our floor started to chip here in there. Certainly not catastrophic, but enough you would notice. So we emailed ***** and let him know. And then, well. You can decide what's reasonable:1) First text sent early January - receive a call back with an aloof "Give me a few weeks to get back to you". Not a great start.2) A smattering of texts, calls attempt to reach ***** to no avail. 3) Finally, we hear from *****, with 24 hours notice that he will be in our area for a repair. My wife informs him we won't be ready in time with a clean floor.4) My wife emails him back, to which ***** says that we missed an appointment and he'll "let us know when he's in the area"5) I write an email back claiming that his email was quite rude, a complete misrepresentation of how we got here and borderline delusional - explaining that he had attempted 1 attempt at repair in 180 days, so perhaps a high horse was not what he should ride in on.6) That apparently made him mad - and he explained to me that he would not be backing up his guarantee.So - here's what I would say - quality of work? I mean it held up for 4 years. So average? Below average? Candidly I'm unsure on what 'good' is on a garage coating. Backing up of work? 1/10. Go elsewhere. If I can help give more context on this, please let me know. Have all emails, texts etc but I think you'll find above to be dead-on accurate.

    13th Year in business and I have to reply to such a ridiculous review. What ************ failed to mention: 48 hours before our last appointment ************ called me, assured me the garage was clean and ready before he left town. ************ lied to me. I gave a 20 minute heads up call to inform I was on my way and his wife threw him under the bus and told me the garage was not clean and ready. I informed him that I would call him 24 hour before I am in his area for a second appointment since I already knew how a scheduled appointment doesn't work well with ************. He then lashed out calling me names and proclaimed he is FTD CEO *********************** ! I told him after lying to me and calling me names, not to wait for that 24 hour notice phone call. He then sends his wife to trespass two of my neighbors homes to lurk around my home while being monitored on camera and a armed neighbor. Who does that c*** ? FTD CEO *********************** does.

As to the actual response that ***** is referencing - here is verbatim what I wrote just so there is no ambiguity:Fri, 10 Jun, 15:20 (4 days ago)to *****, I find this email quite rude, a complete misrepresentation of how we got here and borderline delusional. Keep your appointment? Let's review. Its been more than 6 months since we originally tried contacting you, which is more than enough patience. Initially, we reached out in January - to which you replied with "give me a few weeks", in maybe the most aloof business response I've ever experienced in my entire life. Since then, you have attempted the repair once... repeat, once... since January... with a remarkable sporadic and inconsistent communication thread. Phone calls with no messages. Texts with no responses. And this is literally the first email you've ever written to us and it took us submitting on your website... and realistically - one day-notice to arrange a plan is not acceptable. We travel. We have kids. I am the *** of a billion dollar business. To put this in perspective - if you tried to schedule a phone call with me right now during a work day - I am scheduling in July. That is not meant to sound self-important, just level setting expectations.So here's what I would propose. Throw out a couple of dates. Maybe 3. From there - we can make sure someone is home all day with the exception of dropping our kids off at day care (730 - 830 AM) and picking kids up from day care (420 - 520) PM. In a perfect world, it would not be June 14 - 18, June 20 - 23, June ***** - that is when I'm travelling for work. I would not say those dates are off limits, but my wife will be solo, which means we'd have to make sure she literally has nothing else going on the entire day.

    Still not a single mention that he lied to me ********************************************************************************************************** his area. This gentleman lies and pretends it doesn't matter. I've returned every phone call and email as that is how I conduct business. I do not do business by text. His wife's image cannot be shown in this comment.
