My family and I had checked into the Woodspring Suites in Lakewood, Wa on 7-30-2022 and discovered on 8-4-2022 that the hotel is infested with cockroaches. The manager insisted on having us move out of that room, and wound up putting us into another room that was in worse shape. We immediately found lodging elsewhere and started the checkout process. The manager was willing to refund the unused portion of our stay, less two days due to him having to take the rooms off the market. That part I wasn't ok with, as the ***** issue wasn't my fault. I've been trying to follow up with the manager by phone every few days since we left to check on the refund status and he's not returning my calls. They are independently owned and operated, so their chain affiliate isn't able to do much. All I want is my money back and never have to deal with this matter ever again. I have my original reservation, which quoted a lesser cost than what they charged me and the folio receipt showing a balance not at zero. Both I'll be more than happy to provide with this complaint.
