I had a rear end replaced in a truck that came with a ****** mile to your warranty. The truck has made to ****** miles in under two years and they are refusing to warranty the work because it is a commercial vehicle which was not stated until *** called and informed me when I brought it in for warranty work after they realized how much it was going to cost them to fix their problem

      Business Response

      Date: 11/13/2023

We are sorry for your misfortune, and we are very sorry that you did not see the value of our offer to help you in this matter. We offered a generous discount even though the failure is clearly due to driver abuse. It is unreasonable to continue to drive your vehicle with an obvious and extremely loud failure "until you had time to bring it in" and then expect someone else to pay for your poor decision. We are sorry the facts of this situation are not to your liking. We have provided photo evidence of our findings along with a detailed inspection report. Your misrepresentation of the facts to the BBB and your unfair online review are the reason we have withdrawn our offer to discount this repair. I hope you have a more honorable relationship with your next repair shop.

This is now a third story, or possibly a fourth as to what the shop is telling me there was no problems with the truck before this happened. There was no loud noises. There was no problem as soon as the driver heard a noise they pulled the truck Over and I put it on a trailer and took it to my yard and then I had a tow truck take the truck to My Autoworks in Woodland

After inspection of the truck, the business initially told me that their manufacturer would not warranty the parts because it was a commercial vehicle

Then they told me that they would not warranty the parts because it was a manual

Then they told me that they would not warranty it because of driver neglect

Now they are saying that we drove the truck for quite some time With the problem, which was not the fact

this is clearly just trying to get out of a 100% warranty claim and they are refusing to do so because they chose to use a manufacturer that would not warranty their parts which is not my problem as the consumer. It is their problem as a business and supplier.
