    on sept 7 2025 we had handyman on the run come to our apartment to build a bed frame. it took them a really long time to put together. they were using a small hexkey that came with the bed frame kit instead of using the yellow power drill they had with them. then they left without finishing the job. there were 2 rods that needed to be put in. The support tether that was put in came out with in minutes of them installing it. parts of the bed need that need to be undone to put the remaining rods. some of the frame is tight; other parts are very loose. no consistent quality of work.when i tried to pay them using chime they claimed they could not use it or didnt know how. they hounded me for 2 days about the payment. then they tried to charge me more money since they could not figure out how to claim the payment. very shady.overall completely dissastisfied and i am seeking refund/reimbursement of 150 dollars for the work that still needs to be done.

    We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaint. At Handyman on the Run, we take pride in maintaining a strong reputation for professionalism, quality work, and customer satisfaction.


    After reviewing the details of this case, we respectfully disagree with the customers claims. The statements made in their complaint are not accurate representations of our service or their experience. Our records, as well as the customers own actions, show that they were fully satisfied with the work completed. At the end of the job, before the roll over of another hour, the customer was asked if they would like to continue with the 3 last pieces or if they wanted to take the money and complete the three pieces themselves as I had head that they were tight financially with the payment to Handyman on the Run. They were very happy to accept the offer to save the money and left an amazing review for us.


    Specifically:


    The customer left us a ****** review immediately following the completion of the project, praising their experience with our team.


    There were no complaints or requests for corrections made at that time.


    The refund request was only submitted after a significant period of time had passed, and after the customer expressed unrelated financial concerns.


    Given these facts, and the time and expertise invested in delivering the agreed-upon work, we cannot agree to a refund. Our services were provided to the customers satisfaction, and in accordance with our policies.


    We remain committed to conducting business with integrity and transparency and stand behind the quality of our work and the professionalism of our team.
