    Hello, on 4/28/2023 I *************************** rented. a Uhaul 10' truck from Totem Self Storage in **** ** as you can see with the documents, I provided I'm not a mechanic. the question that haul ask is to inspect the truck to make sure you don't see any outside damages and to check the gas miles. I kept smelling gas but again I'm not a mechanic. unbeknownst to myself come to find out Totem Self storage. Rented me an unsafe truck. a damaged gas tank leaking gas line which the employee was fully aware of when I called to explain the situation. that when I tried to put gas in the gas tank. fuel leaking from your system is very dangerous. and its one of the many caused of vehicle fires. so, I could have blown up and the employee response was she check the vehicle earlier in the day and she smelled the gas, and she just thought it was. was because of the time of day this is very unacceptable when I return the uhaul another employee went to the truck and put something on the gas tank to try to stop the leak I unable to contact ***** tried to make a formal complaint with them directly. I should have a got a full refund and more for all I went through but instead of them doing that they fully charged my card which I was told that would not happen from the employee @ Toem Self Storage **** S **************************** I not asking for a settlement I want my money back because they intent ally gave me a faulty truck that I could have blown up in and this place need to be investigated
