Beware: I have ******** as my primary insurance because I am disabled. However, I also have Blue Shield. For Blue Shield to consider a claim it has to go through ******** first, even if they pay nothing. I know this, as I contacted Blue Shield about my $300.00 bill for my first session. Nourish ignored my ******** and sent the claim directly to Blue Shield, who denied all of it, as it hadnt gone through the ******** channels. When I sent an email to Nourish (which doesnt seem available by phone), I was told: For ******** to cover our services, you must be referred by your doctor and have either a diagnosis of diabetes or **************************** 3 or higher. Without a referral or qualifying diagnosis, we are unable to bill ******** for the appointment you had. As these are not my conditions, and although I am disabled and was referred by a nurse practitionerand even though I have secondary insurance, apparently they wont bill ******** for me. They offered to pay the $300, which I agreed to, but they told me I would have to pay out of pocket in the future. Of course, I cannot afford to do this. I told them to close my account. If I could actually talk to a person I might try to explain, but the policy seems non-negotiable (as well as incredibly outrageous and unnecessarily restrictive). The nutritionist was nice, but I never got to use her services.

It's best to refrain from engaging with this company. I experienced subpar service when I was late for an appointment, and the nutritionist suggested I find another team member. Additionally, they tried to charge a $75.00 fee to my credit card for missing the appointment.
