The business was issued to come help me with key fob reprogramming. I listed I wanted my smart key to turn on vehicle and be connected to car. The initial repair only left my keys to start the vehicle with the security lights to still be on, when told they fix the issue. I requested again that I needed the keys to unlock and lock said vehicle. I was told it was impossible and couldnt be fixed for this version of car. The initial charge was $399 and after dissatisfied, was dropped to $320. Left with the issue not being resolved. I had another company fix the issue and was able to resolve anything on top of that. Due to the companys inadequate knowledge of my vehicle and false advertising on their website lead me to hire another company. Which was able to fix my impossible problem.

    Hello,

Upon checking our records, this was not a customer we provided service to. We do not advertise or provide key fob programming services and also primarily provide service only in the Snohomish County area.

After some review, we believe this is intended for another business that goes by a very similar name of "Evergreen Locksmith" based in *******. Our business is based in ******* and we go by "Evergreen Lock & Key".

For reference, below is our website and pages:

Evergreen Lock & Key (our business):
    Webpage: **************************************
    Yelp: ********************************************************************
    Address: **************************************************

The business referred to in this message was:

Evergreen Locksmith (likely the business being referred to):
    Address: ***********************************************************************
    Webpage: **************************************************
    Yelp:
    **********************************************************************

Please also find attached proof from the official **************** Business Lookup showing our business and the business in question.

Hope you are able to find resolution on this matter with the other company.

    Thank you,

    Evergreen Lock & Key

BBB is unable to locate the business.
In November, I called Evergreen Locksmith to have a key cut and programmed. They offered a second key at half price if I bought the first one so I did that.I paid $700 for two keys. When my husband got home, he noticed that they hadn't cut the emergency key, only programmed it to start my car. They never told me that was extra. When I called in to get the key made, I said I needed a new key CUT and programmed. When the technician arrived I told him that I needed both done, he didn't tell me that was extra or mention cutting at all, so I assumed it was done. We called in to ask them to cut the key and they said someone would call us back. Nobody did. I called again a couple of weeks later and was given the same answer.I have been busy and forgot about it until last week when my key stopped working to unlock my car from my purse, and I had to physically remove it and push the button to unlock, so I called again to remind them they were supposed to return my call to cut my key, and also at that time reported the new issue where my key wasn't working properly. They again promised to have their technician return my call. Nobody called me.NOW this week (3 months after the keys were issued) my car won't start unless I put the keyfob up to the ignition (which completely defeats the purpose of having a KEYLESS start). I have called three times this week and nobody will return my calls.I tried using the spare key and it isn't great either. The car beeps at me saying it can't locate the key in the vehicle unless it is in the cupholder. I also have to hold this one in my hand for the door to unlock.I paid way too much for a crappy product, and despise horrible customer service. I hardly ever complain or write bad reviews, but this is ridiculous and terrible business management.I have tried resolving this with the company, and am not even asking for a refund unless they would rather do that and I will gladly return the broken keys. I just want what i paid for.
