      They recommended a $6000 replacement of the hybrid battery on a 2008 Prius. The car drove fine and when I asked why they felt a replacement was necessary, they could only come up with a code and no detailed data. I checked out the battery with the Dr. ***** app, and no problem was detected. They should have been able to justify such an expensive repair, but they couldn't.

      The customer was in for service as his 2008 ***** stopped and had flashing warning lights. He was a new customer to ** and when we checked we found below and resolved. However, one of the codes was P0A80 which recommends replacing battery and ECU. The customer did not agree with this assessment and wanted further diagnosis. ******** and ****** that code is ironclad. ****** talked with the guy yesterday and explained this to the guest,but since the guest is using an aftermarket tester App (Dr. ****** and it is saying everything is fine he does not believe us. Even if we clear the code it will keep coming back. The app he is using has mixed reputation.                                

      FOUND THE *** FILTER ON UPSIDE DOWN. CHECKED FOR DEBRIS IN
      THE MASS *** FLOW SENSOR, OK. FOUND OIL LEVEL OVER FULL AND
      OIL IN THE INTAKE MANIFOLD.
      DRAINED OIL LEVEL DOWN, REMOVED THROTTLE BODY AND CLEANED
      OUT MANIFOLD. ENGINE STARTS AND RUNS FINE NOW.
      H/V BATTERY AND ECU WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED AS WELL.

      Several months back, i helped my dad purchase a vehicle from Foothills Toyota. He was trading in his 2013 Prius for a newer Lexus that Foothills had for sale. It was dad's desire to start shopping for a car at Foothills, as he had purchased his Prius new from them, and had dealt with salesman ********************* (whom was still working there). It was my first experience with that, and I wanted to be there helping my dad as he was recovering from the loss of my mom a few months before. ***** handled dad with great care and complete integrity. The trade values were acceptable, the Lexus price was fair, and **** in financing was spot on with exact numbers and no up sales. I can see why dad wanted to go back to Foothills again. Everyone I encountered during the process, from salesman to finance was exceptional. I would recommend anyone looking for a Toyota or used Lexus to stop ** and see ***** or *****. The ****** family has really maintained the values of doing business with integrity and honesty. It is worth the trip to Burlington, **********. Sincerely, ********** (******) Raptes

      First walking in I was impressed with the staff and the lack of usual dealership nonsense. I wanted to place a custom order for a new Tacoma and was told that would be no issue and we sat down and detailed what I wanted and a deposit was put down. A few days later I was informed that my order was made but with an extra few thousand in options but they were confident they could get the truck I wanted in the timeline promised. Two months later as the truck is due to arrive I was informed that I could purchase the truck that was ordered (and pay an overall 10k, after taxes, more than was originally quoted) or wait another estimated who knows how long for the truck I custom ordered but they could not guarantee a timeline. After going in I was told nothing could be done and that Toyota does not, and never will, take custom orders.So if you want a truck I would either buy what's on the lot or look elsewhere. Why Toyota takes a deposit for ordering a vehicle that they can't guarantee is beyond me. You can just browse dealer inventory anywhere else and find what you want, a lot of other dealerships are not charging the "market adjustment" of ***** or more over MSRP. Overall very disappointed with my experience and won't be coming back for any future purchases.
