      Another bad review for this company which seems to be the only kind they get and it's well deserved. I was sent a flyer for their collection services and since I had been trying for 2 years to collect on a debt I won in Small Claims Court, I decided to give this company a try. For 9 months they did nothing. If I wanted to know what actions were being taken, I had to write every few months and ask. Basically, I got excuses; the initial paperwork had been filed but there's a waiting period (I'd already done that!); no response from the defendant; they didn't know where he was. I sent them all the paperwork I'd already filed with the courts including his address. I was ready to lien his bank account and that's all I expected Credit International to do, not recreate the wheel. After another 6 weeks of no contact, I again requested to know what the status was for getting my money. I was told there was nothing to report, my lawsuit did not include the company (not true, it did) that the defendant was not living in ********** (he still does a neighbor's yard!!), and a bunch of verbiage about how the collection process works and that it could take from 2-20 years to collect! None of the explanation really applies to the defendant as he is working and seems to be making a viable business judging from the trucks and equipment he uses in his yard business. I was also told that if I wanted to continue to do business with ***, I would have to stop requesting updates more than once a year. I responded that it was time to terminate this contract and to send any paperwork necessary to do so. I will go ahead with this suit on my own. I looked at this as a partnership to collect a debt and that included being kept informed on a regular basis of what actions are being taken. I believe none were. I honestly don't know how this company stays in business because they don't seem to be working to do so. This is a no-star company.
