1 starTheir installation was sub par to say the least. They found a 2 by 4 and nailed it to the house (next door) and put their box on it. The cable was sagging more and more until it was caught by a tall truck and ripped the 2 by 4 off the house and lowered the cable to 10 feet above the road. Upon being told the wait for a representative was close to an hour, I drove to the local office to report it. They didn't offer to help, just said to cut the cable myself! So I removed the 2 by 4 that was half off and cut the cable, kicking it to the side of the road. No one has shown up to coil the cable or hang it back onto the main wire. Nothing. If this is the installation, imagine how awful the customer service and/or repairs must be!Astound Broadband powered by Wave

1 starThe business had raised my Internet prices from, November 2024, around $35 to ,July 2025, $75. That is about 100% price increase in less than a year. I tried to contact their customer service to lower the price or change to a cheaper plan, but their customer service specialist, ********, refused to help me in that regard, whether by their lack of training or company policy they made it very difficult to make any changes or get any information let alone resolve the issue.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

1 starAwful Internet provider. I was paying $137 a month and then my monthly bill suddenly shot up to $205 for no reason at all. No changes to my service no additions I called astound twice to question the increase and they just told me it was a rate increase. Thank goodness I was not on auto pay or I may not have noticed this immediately. I paid and canceled their service and will never go back. Difficult company to get a hold of and they have no department that handles complaints.Astound Broadband powered by Wave

1 starThe spotty at best service, frequent rate increases, and ridiculously long wait times when trying to resolve issues make them near impossible to work with. Trying to cancel service meant two phone calls (don't try to select the call back option: the phone rang once and then they hung up before I could answer), no proration on a $147 monthly internet bill, and a two hour drive to return the rental equipment. 1 starThey raised my bill $15 without informing me and for no reason they could explain. They also were supposed to update my equipment as I am still using a modem and a router. The past few months my rate keeps getting raised, I call, get an adjustment, then get billed more again.We really really need another ISP in the area. 1 starI recently received a bill that had additional 380 dollar charge on it. When I contacted them about it, the individual stated it was for equipment and asked if I had cancelled service with them. I had not. I told them I have had the same service and same old equipment for years. They told me they had to open a case and the fee would be removed. The next day I received a call stating that I would not get credit for the fee until I turned in equipment or provided proof that it was turned in. When I asked when I had this service they told me it was 6 years ago in 2019! Why are they just now billing me for equipment I supposedly had in 2019? They basically told me there was nothing they could do and they needed their 6 year old equipment back. I have been a loyal customer for years. Ive stayed with them through the price hikes and everything and theres nothing they can do. Unbelievable. I would not recommend them to anyone.Review fromMark G
