      Purchased "pcmover software" sold by the company based on companies advertising that stated the software would transfer the programs/applications to a new computer from my old computer. However, when i tried to transfer programs/applications to new computer, the main program/application I needed to be transferred did not transfer. i talked to support and was told that not all programs/applications would transfer, which is not what their advertisements stated. I feel a refund of my $33.12 is due me. *************************

      Date of transaction: 04/12/22 The amount of money you paid to the business: ***** what the business committed to provide; Software that will allow data transfer from one computer to another what the nature of the dispute is; That they are not disclosing accurately that the license is for 1 computer pair, that they are hiding the information under 2 supporting documents instead of posting it directly in site of the customer, expecting you to purchase another license instead of allowing a transfer to a new computer.whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem: They told me to buy it again for the new computer account/order/tracking number: invoice number: BKD-***********; Reference number: *********; Serial Number: ******************** went searching for software to transfer domain users to a new computer, found this website: https://go.laplink.com/pcmover-express-50-off Talked with their chat and was told to purchase the pro leading me to this website: https://store.laplink.com/59/uurl-u949bmbuku No where on either of those websites or did the person in chat tell me that the license was only for 1 pair of computers. I installed it on my laptop to test it and only now found out that the license was used and that I need to buy another license for a new computer. They would not give me a 1 time switch, the offered a discount but that was actually double the price that I had already paid. The company is using scamming, deceitful and malicious tactics to trick customers into purchasing the software that will not be transferable to a new computer and force them to buy the software again.

      I ordered Laplink's PC Mover Professional software on ******. With my first attempt to use the software, it did literally nothing. Just froze. I went ahead and ordered the expensive file transfer cable. What arrives was a third-party alternative, NOT the cable they promised on Amazon. Fine. I accepted the cable, and would have been happy with that...if it worked. Laplink then claimed that I had successfully migrated my old computer, which couldn't be further from the truth. PCMover Professional NEVER worked, and when I informed them of this, they told me the software was for ONE USE! Something not at all clear on their website. That said, this one-time use b.s. is NOT why I requested a refund - I requested a refund because the software simply never worked. Period. The agent kept vanishing and refused to 100% commit to a refund. I have wasted enough time and energy on this scam of a company and their equally questionable software and hardware. I'm done. I want a FULL REFUND; nothing else will be satisfactory.
