    Spring of 2019 I had nine solar panels sold to me and installed on my roof. I had no roof issues prior. The points of attachment were done poorly and has resulted in roof leaks that have caused water damage and mold in my attic and beyond, as well as leaking water manifesting in my garage (and potentially other moisture damage within my walls and ceilings).I have been in contact with Blossom Solar many times, they have come out and inspected both my attic and their workmanship. They claim my attic was moldy prior (not the case and how would they know) and that the panel installation looks fine and that it MUST be my roof itself. I had a roofing company inspect the **** / solar install and they found issues. Blossom removed some of the panels for me so my roofer could see underneath them and investigate further. He made repairs and I paid him for his work. I still have leaks the problem is getting worse and continues. I am a single home owner was a less than average ONE income and cannot even afford to have yet more contractors come do any repairs or anything and Blossom has not returned my most recent communication on this matter. The last time I heard from them they said they were considering next steps and would get back to me (July 25th, 2023). This is a health issue and an issue with deterioration of my home.I don't know what next steps to take. I have a contractor coming next week to ***** the damage and help me to understand what the issues are and what needs to be done to fix them and then clean up the mess. This issue has caused me mental, emotional and physical issues.The sales broker was Nation Wide Solar Pros, install was Blossom Solar Sale was financed (and is paid off now) for a total of $11,655 I have documentation (and can get more) from contractors who have inspected the roof and done roof repairs (which I have paid for), photos of damage, photos of leaking, photos of workmanship, invoices, etc. - too much to upload with your form here

    Response:

    Blossom responded to and investigated **************** reported roof leaks in 1-2 weeks. Blossom inspected the roof and attic area and made small repairs to Blossom penetration points at that point. Upon roof inspection it was clear there were additional leak points outside of where Blossom had completed their installation. Following investigation by **************** roofer, it was determined that some shingle repair was required under the solar panels. Blossom removed and reinstalled the solar panels requested to be removed. Blossom notified ************** we could replace all solar penetration points, but that the integrity of the roof was a concern and that Blossom believed roof leaks would continue.

    Following this repair there were several emails exchanged between ************** and Blossom covering the roof that continued to leak from an undetermined point and reconnecting **************** solar monitoring hardware to Wi-Fi. Blossom apologizes for the delay and lapse of response to July and November exchanges. 

    Blossom stands by our workmanship and would like to offer to pay the bill from 2023 from Hillside Roofing of $1,047.38. Additionally Blossom would like to continue to work with the homeowner as additional inspections are completed in 2024.
