I have had some health issues and three very distinct things arose from them.1: I no longer have the health to work on cars 2: I am on disability now and only make about of what I made while working so I no longer have money to pay someone to work on my cars 3: I have Myasthenia Gravis and Stress, Fatigue, Overexertion are some of the biggest triggers for a Myasthenic Crisis I recently had an incident at a car dealership (that will remain unnamed for now to see if they make it right). I could no longer physically or financially complete minor repairs needed on my 2014 Dodge Ram so on 6/29/2022 I took it to this dealership and explained the situation to them. I made physical and financial issues clear and asked if they had a truck that needed no work or money put into it they could trade for my truck. They traded me a 2012 **** F350 that was a bit of a downgrade from my 2014 Dodge but it was advertised as safe, road worthy, and needing no work done on it so we made the trade. I loved my Dodge and the only reason I traded for the **** is because it was advertised as being a safe and reliable truck. The truck drove well on the initial test drive but the gas tank was on empty. As soon as we made the deal I went to the gas station to fuel up and realized there was no gas cap. There was also some sort of issue with the venting or fuel filling tube that would not allow you to pump gas without is spitting back out and stopping. I had to put in a few cents at a time over about 25 minutes to fill the tank. These were my first red flags. I took the truck home and parked it that night We took it on a drive on 6/30/2022 and for the first few hours things went well. Then I started smelling a little bit of gas fumes. Thinking it was just a venting issue I drove towards home.
