Owner (*******) is not nice, very rude. Don't book a stay there. I went through Booking.com, found her place and it seemed very nice. Booking.com asked when I wanted to check in, I between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM. I booked the room, and never saw any specific information about check-in times on Booking.com. I then started to receive countless texts from *******, the owner, saying the check-in time was denied. She kept asking is I received her email on Booking.com. I checked countless times, reloading the Booking.com page, logging out and back in, but there were no messages from her on Booking.com. She said that we had to check in between 7PM and 9PM. I tried to call her to see if there was any other way around this as we were at an event at that time, she refused to answer the phone. Her texts got very nasty. My husband decided to just stop by to see what we could do or if we needed to cancel and find other arrangements. She began screaming at my husband and slammed the door in his face. We were trying to be pleasant, and just wanted to see if she could accommodate us at a bit earlier or later time, and since she wouldn't respond on text or answer the phone calls, we made the decision to just drive up and see what to do. After she slammed the door, she sent another text (in all caps as if screaming at us), so I went on Booking.com and canceled the reservation since she was not willing to talk to us. She then sent several more very nasty texts to us and I ended up blocking her calls. For someone that runs a bed and breakfast and deals with customers, she should get a better personality. Maybe she needs to learn how to run a home business. It is never okay to take money from someone for a service and be completely unreasonable and unavailable to talk with the customer. I will never book with her bed and breakfast again, and I do not recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone wanting to stay in *******.
