      I purchased 2 mouthpieces and a case from ZQuiet last July. These are supposed to help with sleep apnea. They did not help me at all, which is fine because it was relatively cheap (around $35) and I had low expectations. My issue came when I saw a charge in my credit card last week from them again. I made a one time purchase and they auto enrolled me in their product. I went to their website tonight and went to checkout to look and there is no mention or disclaimer that you will be signed up on recurring payments. Im feel that this is a deceptive business practice and predatory. I would like a refund and I feel they should be required to tell you in plain text before purchase that you will be signed up for a subscription. I also feel you should be able to opt out if said subscription. More than the refund I believe they should be stopped from enrolling people in a subscription without consent or warning.

      I'm sorry that you were confused about the subscription order process.  We offer subscriptions on single sizes only for customers who would like regular delivery of a mouthpiece in the size of their choice. Les than 10% of our sales are subscriptions, and we lose revenue on any unwanted subscriptions, so we are motivated to only sell subscriptions to customers who want them.  You contacted customer service when you saw the subscription on your credit card, and we responded immediately that you can place a return for a full refund. When a customer makes a return at **********************, we provide a full refund without the need to return the product.  You have already been provided with a refund, and you can simply discard the product we sent. 

      There are strict FTC rules regarding selling subscriptions, and we are well within compliance (as I mentioned, we lose money on every subscription that is returned). I'm attaching a screenshot of the order process for your reference to document how we present the option for a subscription.  I want to personally reassure you that ZQuiet has been in business for over 18 years and the #1 selling anti-snoring mouthpiece in the ****  We stand behind our product and our process, and I apologize for the confusion you felt.

      Purchased January 8,2024 Request a refund on February 1,2024 They blocked my email.They are misleading people and when asked about refund they tell you to buy other products to make theirs work. Such a scam.

      ZQuiet recommends all those new to ZQuiet purchase a 2-Size Starter Pack to ensure they find the size that best stops their snoring.  This customer purchased a single Size 1 mouthpiece and then contacted ZQuiet to complain it didn't work.  Our customer service responded by suggesting that they the Size 1 might not be the correct size to stop their snoring and offered to send a free Size 2 device.  (Please see correspondence below)

      A full refund was granted on 2/16/24.  I find no evidence of ZQuiet blocking the email address from this customer.  ********************** has been in business for over 15 years and sold millions of devices to a satisfied customer base.  

      I'm sorry this customer had a negative experience, however I am proud of our ***************************************************************************************************** a full refund without the need to return the product to our warehouse if they want to make a return.

      Given the customer has received a full refund, I will assume this case is closed.

      Dear ******,Thanks for contacting ZQuiet ***************** We're very sorry to hear of your experience with the mouthpiece so far. ZQuiet was designed in such a way that the flexible materials allow you to sleep with your mouth open or closed and still prevent snoring. Due to the hinges of the mouthpieces being made to pull the lower jaw forward, the mouth can remain open when relaxed during sleep and this is typically what causes customers to experience dry mouth. Many customers who experience similar issues find success wearing ZQuiet in conjunction with a chin strap. A chin strap will assist you in keeping your mouth closed throughout the night and keep the ZQuiet secure. A chin strap can be found at many different retailers including Amazon.Upon review of your account, I see that you ordered the Comfort 1. The most likely reason that he is still snoring is that the adjustment of the Size 1 mouthpiece is not enough of an adjustment for long-term use. Many users find it will work initially, but that they may need the larger adjustment of the Size 2 to more fully resolve their snoring. Size 2 has the same dimensions as size 1, but it advances the lower jaw slightly more forward, opening the airway even more to treat stubborn snoring.We suggest trying the Size 2 for a larger adjustment to see if that would help reduce your snoring. We would be happy to send 1 mouthpiece as a complimentary order (a Comfort 2) if you are interested in trying it out!       The ZQuiet item was improperly advertised. Note it claims 2mm adjustment. However, when it arrived I found that if you have overbite or underbite, it does not fit - not even close to 2mm. But you cannot know that until you try it out. And, the spring action forces you to mouth breath all night, drying out your gums. Dry gums leads to gum damage/recession. Finally, it wears on the roof of my mouth digging into the delicate skin. A refund should be allowed from the ZQuiet company. Amazon ignores. Please respond.       We are very sorry to hear you are unhappy with the product. Our website offers a 60-night guarantee but Amazon only allows merchants to offer a 30-night guarantee. It sounds like you asked for a refund on Amazon but haven't received one, which is strange (and sadly, out of our control). Amazon will not share any customer information with us because they consider you to be their customer, not ours.
