On Nov. 26 I hit a deer, my car was still drivable, I **ntinued to drive it for about a month with no problems. I put in my ins claim with Union Mutual * brought my car to the shop they re**mmended. To my knowledge my adjuster or any adjuster from Union Mutual did not go * look at my car in person, only through pictures. My ins policy **vers a rental car up to $1,000. I had my rental for 26 days while my car just sat at the shop waiting on parts. Only some body work was **mpleted that didnt require parts. My car was ripped apart with the knowledge that parts are/were hard to get throughout the nation no matter the make or model of the vehicle. This info was not told to me up front from the shop or Union Mutual which at the time, they both knew this was a national issue, I should have been told. They have not kept me updated with my claim, I have had to call them most of the time to get answers as to why things were done or why I needed to bring my rental back. Union Mutual is not helping me get a rental car **vered by ins until my car is done. If the parts delay is a national issue, because of COVID, then there should be something my ins ** can do for me. Union Mutual told me, an extended rental is not **vered because there is a "parts delay in the ************ doesn't **ver that. They keep telling me they have "exhausted all ******** * ****** hands are tied". Well, my hands are tied also * Im the one with no car, * an ins ** that wont help me in the slightest bit. This is a trickle effect * there is something that can be done, they are not even trying or willing to help get some extended **verage for a rental. They need to remember that they represented their customers, who pays Union Mutual. With the world the way it is today and COVID there needs to be exceptions for situations like this. I am the one who will have to suffer * go potentially months without a car. It has been very difficult making arrangements to get places. Shame on them for not helping!!!!
