I started class 1/8/2024. I was unable to complete the first weeks assignments due to mental health issues. I was visiting family for my aunt as she has stage 4 cancer. The last day I participated in the class was 1/13/2024. 1/15/2024 was a holiday and was not able to call the school. On 1/16/2024 I called in the morning to drop from the courses as it was just not the right time. They were unable to get ahold of ***************************. I was asked to leave a message. I left a voice message and I wrote an email to her that I would like to drop from the program. I called back because I had not heard from ****************, the person I spoke to told me that its ok they know I wanted out of the program and would back date the paper work to show that. I did not hear from **************** until 1/19/2024. I filled the paperwork immediately. Then on Monday 1/22/24 I was informed that I would on get 50% of my tuition back. This seems like a dirty trick. I tried to drop put the first week which would entitle me to 90% return of my tuition. However, since she waited until Friday, and I put that my last date was 1/13/24, it was not honored as be leaving in the first week. They told me I signed the paperwork on the 19th and owe 50% to them. This is an error on the Colleges part as I tried to quit in the first week. It was on the weekend I realized is was too much and could not contact them until 1/16/2024.
