  According to the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Contractors (Board) website, Marlowe’s We Care Co. Inc. has a Consent Order on file that was entered on December 10, 2024, citing the following violation:
  
  - Failure of those engaged in residential contracting, excluding subcontractors to the contracting parties and those who engage in routine maintenance or service contracts, to make use of a legible written contract clearly specifying the terms and conditions of the work to be performed. prior to commencement of work or acceptance of payments, the contract shall be signed by both the consumer and the licensee, or his agent, 
  - Negligence or incompetence in the practice of contracting or residential building energy analyses,
  - Failure to obtain building permit or applicable inspection, where required, and
  - Failure to abate a violation of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code, as amended.

  Marlowe’s We Care Co. Inc. was fined a total of $3,800.00 for Virginia Board of Contractors costs, must have a member of Responsible Management to successfully complete a Board approved remedial education class and pay monetary fines within 90 (ninety) days of the effective date of the order.
