Date of transaction: 22nd October 2022 Amount charged: $116.78 Booking number: ********** Reservation name: ********************* (my wife) ANS Inn & suites advertised a deluxe queen suite for $66.78. When we arrived at the property the room could not be secured and was unsafe. The room smelt like cigarettes and vomit and did not appear as advertised. After speaking to reception a refund was agreed upon and set in writing, where the business provided a receipt. The business did not provide a refund on the room charge of $66.78 or the refundable $50 holding deposit. Upon seeing this transaction I called ANS Inn & Suites to resolve who refused to process the claim. ANS Inn & suites have not answered any of the 60 calls on both personal and private lines. I contacted Winchester police station who were not surprised about the matter as these instances have happened before, however stated it was a civil case and could only be resolved by your agency. Upon conducting further research, it is clear this is a common occurrence with this business and many people have been Incorrectly and fraudulently charged or not refunded. This requires BBB intervention to hold fraudulent businesses accountable in matters like this. Thank you very much for your time, *************************
