    I live at the village at Westlake. I gave my 60 days notic, My move out date is 7/17/25. I understand they putting the apartment on the market but they took apon themselvs to have my eletric power turn off on 7/27/27. Woth out any notice to me. I didn't have a forwarding address at the time so they sent mylast bill to my old address.

    We have discussed this situation with the resident and determined that there was a miscommunication with the electric company. The property has not contacted the electric company regarding her electric service. The resident is contacting the electric company to make the necessary correction for the date her service should be disconnected on her moveout date.

    They say “Welcome home” ****  ****************** and townhomes- more like welcome to a world of horror! They will expect their rent money on time but leave you with broken appliances, roaches, rodents, and headaches! I have never been more disappointed in a living situation like this in all my life! Maintenance is the worse and the leasing office has no communication! I would 10/10 NOT RECOMMEND!! I have time and time put in for maintenance request for (simple) broken appliances (leaks, filters, clogs) and nothing has been fixed, or they just get rejected. They are definitely on their own time and not on the tenants time, very unprofessional! Then want to raise your rent without any notice…WOW!! I should have known it was going to be terrible when I did my walk through and saw small nicks and crannies in the walls. I love living in Virginia Beach, but these people don’t care about their tenants! Do your research before you move in!

    I moved in April of 2023 into Cambria at the Cornerstone. First I’m in the wrong floor plan due the fact that they the floor plans labeled backwards on their website for over three years and it wasn’t corrected until I made a big deal about it. There is still the fact that I haven’t been able to get into the correct floor plan since moving in. My current apartment wasn’t even fully turned over when I moved in. There were doors missing, blinds missing or not replaced, paint that needed to be fixed, chain links that weren’t fixed and also the refrigerator seal that still hasn’t been replaced after being in this apartment for going in 6 months now. I have called their corporate office on numerous occasions and still haven’t had the issue fixed. I was suppose to move into the right floor plan but now there is a delay due to the apartment flooding and was threatened to cancel my transfer by the property manager. There is also the rent issue I am facing now because they don’t have in their system that I paid my rent before it was due and now I’m expected to pay a balance when I have already paid my rent long before the first of the month. It has been nothing but hell living in this apartment complex with solutions offered by the corporate office or the leasing office of this complex.
